The Best (Only) Work on This Subject,
By Joseph C. Grasmick (Buffalo, NY USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Canada-U.S. Business Immigration Handbook (Hardcover)
I am the former author of this Handbook, producing 10 editions since 1991. The "torch is now passed" to the able hands of Ben Trister, an experienced immigration lawyer. U.S. immigration law works differently for Canadians. There is a "Canadian twist" to almost every area of immigration law--temporary work permits, green cards and citizenship. Furthermore, there is one visa--the NAFTA TN--with procedures and requirements completely unique to Canadians. This Handbook covers all these twists in an exhaustive manner. This highly technical subject is written in plain English, with generous supplementary flowcharts, checklists, sample applications and diagrams. If you are interested in U.S. immigration as it pertains to non-Canadians, this is not the book for you. However, if you are an immigration practitioner, employer or employee interested in U.S. immigration as it pertains to Canadians, this is an essential reference work.
