This is an amazing group. The technical skills of the musicians are unequaled in my experience. Every song on the CD is exceptionally well done and a joy to listen to.

It's the music that counts, and the music is splendid, despite the sometimes jarring juxtapositions of the tunes. We get eighteen tracks that range from classical (Bach, Brahms, Mozart, Rimsky-Korsakov) to tangos to gospel to Dixieland jazz. Excellent sound.

This recording is the beginning of the new era for the Canadian Brass. New members, great sounds, fantastic selection of pieces, from renaissance to Dixieland and Tango!! Highly recommended!
