First time I purchased a book of this type. I wanted to know what about dates, coin values, mintage and general information about Canadian coins and this book gave me the information I needed to know. It was worth the purchasing for my purposes. Thanks.

The 63rd edition of A CHARLTON STANDARD CATALOGUE CANADIAN COINS 2009 by W. K. Cross is by far the best numismatic reference of Canadian coins.
Completely revised and re-worked for 2009, superb quality, excellent illustrations, detailed descriptions of every coin in all denominations from the one cent to the dollars, including provincial mints.
I recommend this guidebook because is easy to use, highly practical, and very well organized.
I also recommend A Charlton Standard Catalogue Canadian Colonial Tokens by W.K. Cross, A Charlton Standard Catalogue Canadian Government Paper Money by R.J. Graham and A Charlton Standard Catalogue Canadian Bank Notes by R.J. Graham.
