About the Author

Pat Bumstead loves nature, and her passion for wildlife is exceeded only by her love of writing about it. She is founder and president of the International Society for Endangered Cats (Canada), and has co-written two books on wild cats of the world, as well as a variety of newsletters, pamphlets, facts sheets and brochure on the world's wildlife. Pat is a member of the World Conservation Union (IUCN) Reintroduction Specialist Group.
