Made by Canari, this pair of women's cycling shorts has a four-panel design and soft-touch leg grippers for easy riding. The shorts feature Canari's Stirato Fondello technology, which is recommended for beginner to intermediate cyclists or traditionalists seeking padding that is less dense. It includes hydrodynamic, four-way stretch fabric on both the top cover and the lateral wings. Tapered lateral wings provide protection for the inner thighs without the density of a pad. The open cell foam is molded to provide an ergonomic fit.

This product is made with Canari's standard base fabric of nylon/Lycra, which provides a high resistance to damage from perspiration, sunlight, oils, and chlorine while giving excellent stretch, support, and recovery. The shorts have a 5-inch inseam.

I purchased these shorts for my wife and they work great! We ride (road bikes) at least twice a week and the shorts are holding up well. These have a shorter inseam, which many female riders have commented on (they seem to like it, as does my wife). Sizing seems true to standard sizes. Padding is good and shorts are comfortable. Definitely worth their price.

These bike shorts are well known brand at good price. They are good and work well. The elastic at the waist and legs keep the shorts from sliding, rubbing and bunching while you ride. The padding helps alleviate some discomfort but won't remove it 100%. I would recommend these shorts or a similiar style with padding when riding a bike for long periods of time.

One comment is that it takes time for to "toughen up" your bum for cycling. I participate in a number of long charity rides (50-100 mile) about 5 months each year using these shorts and do spin classes year round using normal gym clothing. I find my bum bothers me again on long rides after a few weeks break from cycling. If your bum is not "toughening up", check to ensure your bike is properly adjusted for you (e.g. right seat height, saddle style and size), as an ill-adjusted bike might be some of the cause of your prolonged discomfort.

These are just what I needed to cushion myself for stationary cycling. The fit is just right for my body. I think the reviewer who gave these shorts a low rating because they were too tight just picked the wrong size. Mine are absolutely comfortable. Padded shorts have come a long way since chamois! I use mine for cycling, writing, and reading on my Fitdesk FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk for healthy computing and gaming -- great combination!
