I can't say enough good words about this book or its contents. It was given to me as a gift from a friend after I had already undergone treatments. I try to make sure I give it to friends either before or during treatments. I don't want them to waste a minute dwelling in a negative mindset. This book teaches wonderful lessons about how to train yourself to have a positive and incredibly uplifting outlook on your illness.

I am still ordering copies as, unfortunately, the need increases. The fact that it is written by a man and from a man's perspective has helped many of my male friends to be more open to reading it. That is yet another postive.

I hope you also find value in this books contents.

This book was my savior after I was diagnosed with cancer. It gave me hope and something to latch on to in facing the awful "Big C." I have given it to others and they have also loved it. The book is short and easy reading and very much to the point. It has helped me to stay positive and remain cancer-free for one and a half years so far. Cancer is not in my vocabulary anymore and will continue to stay that way. I highly recommend it to anyone with cancer or for their loved ones.

My husband and I first read this 5 years ago when it was given to us by a friend when my husband was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease. It was so encouraging. We make it a practice to give it to anyone we know of who has been diagnosed with cancer. And now that my husband has cancer again, we have been re-reading it, and buying more copies!
