Editorial Reviews

REVIEW BY DAVID BONELLO - INTERNATIONAL WELLNESS DIRECTORY /// Not what it seems. When I popped in the DVD, I went to the chapters to see what they were. I felt, no, not again...the same old stuff. What a pleasant surprise. I've researched and written about these "forbidden" cures for years. What a delight to actually see an interview with Rene Caisse. We even see a party thrown for Rene a year before she died filled with people whom she had helped with their cancers. Harry Hoxsey shows up, and you get to see scenes from a rare movie that Hoxsey himself made in 1957 called You Don't Have to Die. It is so rare, you can't even find a mention of it at the Internet Movie Database. I loved the research they did on this film. It must have taken years to compile all the archived photos, audio, and films. They even got Morris Fishbein on film. This is the creep who ran medicine for nearly 50 years. He destroyed many people, many companies, and the damage he did to the health care system of the time killed untold numbers of suffering humans. However, the Hoxsey affair was his downfall. He was forced to resign after libeling Hoxsey and eventually had to admit that Hoxsey was curing cancer. The section on Max Gerson was interesting, especially the deja vue section: they borrowed scenes from Dying to have Known. The scenes they used were the most powerful, the contraposed scenes of so-called medical experts proclaiming that no one has ever been cured of cancer at the Gerson clinic, juxtaposed with patients telling their story. Finally, you'll see some of the latest advances in alternative therapies, including a physician who is curing cancer with baking soda even after he's lost his license to practice medicine. For you history buffs, this is a must have. For you people looking for options outside of conventional medicine, this could save your life. It is very well done and well worth a watch. - David Bonello, International Wellness Directory

This DVD is an eye opener, my son, at age 25, has been told he will die in 2 years from colon cancer. The film is very shocking, but most important, it explains that diet can be the key to curing cancer. There are many publications out there on this subject. Check it out!

CANCER : THE FORBIDDEN CURES

I was truly fascinated by the DVD: "Cancer: The Forbidden Cures". Since childhood I believed that medical professionals adhere to Hippocratic Oath (orkos) which requires them to uphold certain professional ethical standards.
Among the clauses contained in the oath are:
I will apply dietic measures for the benefit of the sick according to my ability and judgment; I will keep them from harm and injustice.
I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody if asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect. Similarly I will not give to a woman an abortive remedy. In purity and holiness I will guard my life and my art.
In this DVD, the medical profession seems to contradict all that.

The DVD has very convincing presentations and I was swayed by its' documented evidence. I know that if I get cancer or have a family member with cancer, I will definitely consider these treatments. It is quite harmless, in contrast to the Holy Trinity remedies of the established medical profession - Surgery, Radiation and Chemotherapy.
Even if , as the medical establishment claims, it is quackery, there is no harm but everything to gain! Unfortunately, according to the DVD, these natural treatments have been banned in the U.S., with the influence of the AMA (American Medical Association) because they cannot profit from them since they are natural (homeopathic) cures which cannot be patented. So you have to go to other countries such as Mexico to the Hoxsey Cancer clinics, the Gerson Cancer clinics, etc.
A great video. However, it lacks the actual "How-To" on how to apply some of these treatments utilizing apricot seeds, Laetrile, mistletoe, sodium bicarbonate, etc.

Holistic health is a topic I've been involved with my whole life, so I know from my own research and direct experience that the central themes of this film are true - orthodox Western medicine is designed to profit the drug-pushing industry and medical institutions, which means it has to perpetuate illness rather than cure people and keep people ignorant about the inexpensive natural therapies that truly support health. This film has some great archival footage related to the development of the big pharma paraidgm and the suppressed alternative healers. It gives short overviews of the various alternative cancer therapies which should inspire viewers to research further, inlcuding Hoxsey, Gerson, Laetrile, Essiac, Mistletoe, Hamer's German New Medicine, and more - there is now a vast amount of information available online and elsewhere about these treatments and the successes they have produced. This film is well organized, beginning with a history of Western medicine and the contrast between allopathic and "empiric" medicine such as homeopathy and naturopathy and the tyrannical takeover by industrial drug pushers like the Rockefellers. There are chapters on the DVD so you can jump to whichever section you wish to. Overall I found this film to be a nice introduction to the topic and overview of natural cancer healing alternatives.

This documentary talks about the current pharmaceutical industry and how much it's influence has changed Washington and it's policies on the medical industry.
Many years ago a Native American tribe had developed a treatment for cancer which uses all natural herbs and spices. The treatment also says it is necessary to change ones diet during the treatment. The recipe for this herbal forumla was given to a man named Hoxsey in which he started a cancer clinic in Texas. The clinic became a huge success and they were curing 80% of cancer patients whom walked through that door. The cure isn't an overnight process, it takes a few years for the treatment to fully work. But majority of the people that were treated were cured and cured for the rest of their lives, unlike with the traditional approach where the costs are astronomical and if the cancer does go away, it's only for a short time period and eventually comes back.
This film changed my entire scope on the medical industry and changed my thoughts on Cancer being the end all if a patient were ever diagnosed with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Thorough Overview September 17, 2010
...of a handful of the most successful (alternative) treatments of cancer, to date. It also gives a good inside view of how these types of treatments are targeted and brought down, by the conventional systems in place. This movie is factual, well documented and sticks to the facts. It will shock some to see how the AMA looks out for itself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of information October 6, 2010
The testimony from so many people who have been cured of cancer was just overwhelming... and they didn't even get to Dr. Sam Chachoua who had lot of other trouble because he effectively cured some patients of cancer. This is a good, informative video.
