I am a collector of Trio Los Panchos. These are very well recorded CD and a very good presentation for the price. I recommend purchase. Also they are cheap

Many of you have noticed that most of these songs have been recorded throughout the decades by Luís Miguel, Natalie Cole and many others. Even some of the mandolin interludes have been repeated. I am a stauch Jazz saxophonist but this music is so relaxing. Spanish is my second language (even though my parents spoke Spanish) and I know many of these songs by heart. I had the opportunity of singing one song (La Mentira, not on this album) with one of the members in Pasadena,CA circa 1985 ( don't remember his name). This 'Pancho' played the guitar by ear and went through all the different harmonic key changes and chords that most people would have to read. He was amazing ! It didn't matter what key I picked to sing in. What a beautiful voice too! He could sing way up high with his falsetto. I met him by chance in a barber shop but he was already a legend. In 1966 Spanish 1, Pasadena City College, teacher Dr. Rust told us about him and how he quit the group after Eydie Gorme. 'Pancho' told me his story after I told him I was a musician. He was surprised when and how I knew all about him. He didn't know he was a "Legend in his own time". ( It seems like he is the one in the middle of this CD photo. In 1985 his hair was gray, and he was thinner. A wonderful person, musician and handsome man. I sort of envy his talents and good looks ! )

Los Panchos Latin charm comes through and makes me feel like going back to Central America where the days are happy and enjoyable.

I love the songs on this cd. They are what I remember hearing growing up in my parents home 40 years ago.
