I used this LED bulb to replace a 40 Watt incandescent candelabra bulb. The regular candelabra bulb was too hot for the fixture and was damaging the lamp shade.

The LED bulb is brighter than the 40 Watt traditional incandescent bulb and much, much cooler. The only con, is that the LED bulb is a bright blue-white. I much prefer the softer amber color of an incandescent bulb. I wish the manufacturers would offer an amber option with these bulbs. If it weren't for the harsh white light, I would have given this product five stars

I really did not like the light output or the color. the light is really dim, ( I had six in a candelobera and still to dimm) i now use it for a nightlight. The light has such a blue hue it is almost uncomfortable.

This bulb is not brigth at all - I would say maybe similar to a 15 watt incandescent and white reflects the outside color of the bulb itself, because the emitted ligth is blue. I have no idea what it would be used for in a daily life. Dissapointed.

I purchased two of these bulbs to replace candelabra bulbs in our front porch-light fixture. This fixture actually uses three candelabra bulbs, but one of the sockets is inoperative. Just two of these 2-watt candelabra bulbs very effectively light our porch. These bulbs are advertised as having an output of 120 lumens (warm white) or 140 lumens (white); roughly the equivalence of a 20-watt incandescent bulb. However, the bulbs seem much brighter than this. I use quite a few LED light bulbs, and all of them are brighter than their advertised lumens. The cool thing is that I am lighting my front porch throughout the night while only using a combined 4-watts of power running the two candelabra bulbs in the fixture. One thing, these bulbs are larger than standard incandescent candelabra bulbs, and may not fit in all candelabra fixtures. We managed to finagle them into our fixture. Overall, I am very happy with these light bulbs.

We needed a decorative light that would bright enough to make some of our decorations glow. After 3 other makes/models of bulbs which had all been anemic or hyper-directional, this one finally delivered. It is bright and casts its light in all directions.
