indecency unnecessary for toddlers,

This review is from: Candle Bible for Toddlers (Hardcover)
I bought this because I wanted something that had good pictures and short stories for my 12 month old. The Candle Bible has those. There is also a good variety of stories.
However, the pictures of Adam and Eve are very risque and I will need to color over some of them. My 1 year old won't care about this, but it will be a different story as he gets older. Also disappointing is the fact that the Bible fails to mention the most important themes of Scripture, those of sin and redemption. In reference to Jesus' death on the cross, the book mentions only that "his friends were very sad because they had lost a good friend." Stories that carry this theme of sin and redemption are also omitted, such as Cain's murder of Abel and Abraham's sacrifice of Isaac etc... The stories and illustrations are cute and interesting for toddlers. Sadly we will be looking for another toddler Bible before long as even a small child can begin to understand the basic concepts of the Bible.

I bought this used book. It's really good condition and reasonable price. My two kids so love it. They're love to ready everyday.
