I really like these candles - especially Lavender & Cedarwood and Vanilla & Cedarwood - but this price is a complete rip off! I got TWO of the 9 oz candles for $12 at Walgreens and Amazon wants $15 EACH??? Pop into your local Walgreens and save $18!

I discovered the Essential Elements candles at my local drugstore and I thought I'd try them out since I had a 20 percent off coupon. The retail price was almost ten dollars per unit and I felt like I was getting a good deal. The fragrance blend of lavender and cedarwood is simply wonderful - it is not overpowering but light, yet the distinct fragrance permeated the surroundings. I let the candle burn on average about eight hours during the day and the candle lasted a week. I was hoping to get more hours out of it but overall, I am very satisfied with this candle - its scent especially which is one of my favorite blends, plus the fact that it is a soy wax blend also stands in its favor. I have also tried the Jasmine and Patchouli blend which I love. Note: Try trimming the wick for a cleaner burn.

Lavender and Cedarwood is the best highly aromatic candle ever. Others in this line don't fill up the room like this one does. I'm very sensitive to artificial scents. This one doesn't hurt my sinuses like so many candles do. Get it at yr local Walgreens for 2@$12

I really like these candles, and I have tried many more expensive brands, from Root to Archipelago to Paddywax. Like their more expensive counterparts, they have a pleasant, not chemical, not overpowering scent. They burn cleanly and they melt even more cleanly because they are not 100% soy. I don't know the percentage of soy wax- high or low- so if this is important to you, try to find out. I just noticed that the wax slips down the glass without leaving behind any residue. Pure soy wax candles can be somewhat oily. But mostly I like them because they are a generous size, have exotic mild scents and they are very reasonably priced compared to their competition. I find there is a difference between a $5 candle and a $15 candle but none between a $15 and $25.

I love this candle. It smells amazing! However, when I received it the jar came in shattered, I sent a packaging reviewing on this product when I received it and did not hear back from anyone. I ended up removing the remainder of the glass and burning the candle it another candle holder I had. But it ended up not lasting very long so I have A LOT of wax and no wick :( So, I'm planning on putting it in my wax melter so I am not wasting any money. But I probably won't buy this candle on line ever again, but am going to try to find it in my area to buy at a store.
