great candlemass show, November 10, 2007
This review is from: Candlemass: The Curse of Candlemass (DVD)
i think that was the last chance we had to see Messiah on a live dvd with candlemass..well...he got what he deserved, anyway, this is a top performance, band in top form, playing great
concert's duration is about 90 minutes, this is on the first dvd.
second dvd includes some bonus material, a 55 minutes interview with the band, and some rare live clips.
if you are a candlemass fan don't lose this one.

Dooooooooom!!!!!, April 24, 2008
This review is from: Candlemass: The Curse of Candlemass (DVD)
It's simple to explain what Candlemass meant to me.
When I listen "Nightfall" for the first time a surgeon almost had to operate on me to remove my face expression !!!!
Candlemass is without doubt the most representative DOOM METAL band at present.
Personality, force, quality and a unique sound, all in this DVD.
Just seeing the first song, "Demons Gate", confirms what I have just said. An apoteotic beginning...
The concert does not have faults, classic after classic, a very clear but demolishing sound, presented by a mature band, that has known with the passing of time, to gain a legion of fans (where I include myself) and the respect of all the metal community.
The extra DVD has an extensive interview and some gigs of old concerts, in which the quality of the image is poor; nevertheless, it is highly recommended because of their historical value.
It is a pity that Messiah Marcolin is no longer part of the group, even though Robert Lowe is more than a worthy successor.
What are you waiting for ???? Buy it !!!!
