5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great
If you have tight/sore muscles, then this is the product for you.
After a hard workout, my muscles can become very knotty, and just a few minutes spent using this can make them feel better the rest of the day.
The Cando Blue is the firmest I've used, and the firmer the better.
This item is well worth the money spent.

2.0 out of 5 stars This Foam Roller is Oval - not Round
The first roller I received was oval - the diameter measured 5-5/8" x 6-1/4". I requested an exchange and the second roller measures the same in diameter. This affects your ability to roll evenly and smoothly and probably inhibits the overall effectiveness of your exercises. I'm hoping it's not doing me any harm.

This review is from: Cando Blue EVA (extra-dense) Foam Rollers - Exercise (Misc.)

When I called The Therapy Connection both times to complain about the oval shape, they said they have no control over their manufacturer.

3.0 out of 5 stars EVA Foam Roller, August 23, 2007
I purchased this roller on Amazon, but Amazon gets it through another company. The first one I received was oblong (instead of round it was more egg shaped) and very hard to roll on. The company picked up the "bad" one and sent another...still not completely round, but much more manageable. As for the roller itself, it does a great job of stretching and working out my trigger points. I've used the regular type foam roller at the gym and this roller is much more durable. I can see it lasting for a long time without getting compressed in areas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, October 5, 2007
This is my second 12" foam roll. These things will last forever and are the best foam roll on the market. I own my own personal training studio. My roll has been used by multiple client daily and is still going strong.

I use this foam roller 2-3 x's a day as part of my surgery rehab routine. Durable and lightweight. Foam doesn't rub off on clothing like other cheaper brands.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cando foam roller can do, July 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am very happy with my foam roller. I got it at the suggestion of my physical therapist for loosening up my upper back. It does a great job of this. It gets a lot of the kinks out, which helps to improve my posture and aids in a good night's sleep. I understand it can be also very useful for helping to loosen tight IT bands.

This is a necessary item for those who have soreness, stiffness, or pressure points that bother them. It feels like my own chiropractor and message without the painful cost. It is one of the few pieces of equipment that is low cost, effective, and doesn't take up much space. I would recommend this to everyone who wants relief from stiffness, soreness, and pain. The product came in excellent condition, was priced low, and shipped fast. Thanks

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product! Wish it was less $$ but worth the cost anyway., November 23, 2010

This is the best kind of foam roller I have been able to find. I work at a high quality gym where the personal trainers use the best products. We have the high density blue EVA foam rollers there. I am a massage therapist and really feel that using this kind to loosen the muscles really helps me with my job! Love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars 6" X 36" Foam Roller Review, October 31, 2008
By
This product had been recommended to me by a friend in Sports Medicine.

I had used a similar "roller" at Physical Therapy, but for a different reason. When I purchased this similar product, I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked......doing the same thing that my PT did with a surgical steel blade.

After rolling my IT Band on this roller, I was amazed how much more "flexible" my leg was, as I had shattered 4" of my femur seven months ago. I would buy it all over again, and will be using it twice per day even after my "walk" is much smoother. It honestly helps alleviate a lot of stiffness and discomfort. A good investment in my opinion.

I bought the 36" x 6" Round Cando Foam Roller and had much the same experience as other buyers in that my foam roller wasn't perfectly round but more of an oval shape. I didn't think the imperfect shape of my roller was bad enough to warrant a return however.
