He has no musical sense.,
By Jordan Appel "thedudeman" (Powder Springs, GA) - See all my reviews

50 Cent is one of the most horrible rappers alive. He has gotten this far based on his song's beats, and beats alone. Strip away the beats, and you hear childish lyrics that a four year old can write. He also needs to upgrade his song content because how much longer can you talk about how you are all street, and yet on Piggybank, make one of the worst lyrical disses of all time? His feud with Ja Rule was stupid. The reason why his first album sold so well was because people kept hearing In Da Club, and how he was stabbed 9 times, that is basically it. This album is a very weak effort, it felt, in some places, that he wasn't even trying. What is his obessesions with his guns, for example Gatman and Robin(????), one of baddest song titles I have ever heard. He is definitly following in his predacessor's footsteps and is probably going to make weaker efforts than this, but this is just bad. It is being force fed to the masses, and they like it because of it's repetive beats. Also, some of the beats by Eminem are horrible(stop producing Em, come on).

50 cent,
This review is from: Candy Shop / Disco Inferno (Audio CD)
Ahhh remeber the days hip hop was great. A day when a person like 50 cent would not even be able to hold the mic at the party. But now hes the king of so called hip hop. With the release of the Candy Shop single, 50 cent has now lost respect from many of his hardcore fans. The lyrics are so awfull, so awfull that its strange that people actually like this. or do they. Or are radio stations so gassed off this guy that they drown us with this garbage, when they can easily play quality music from artist that matter and have something to say. "CANDY SHOP" is the worst song 50 has put out yet.

This is just more terrible rap from 50 Cent. His songs have awful rhythms and shouldn't ever have been played on the radio. I'd pretty much prefer that no rap go on the radio, but 50 Cent is just over the top awful. He has no skill whatsoever, his music is boring and oftentimes annoying, and the cover of his CD even is stupid. I assure you that this CD is not worth buying in the slightest, and if ever you find a copy of it lying around make sure to burn it and spread its ashes over a pile of slop. A word to 50 Cent: get a new job

Is it me, or is EVERY hip-hop record released in the last ten years EXACTLY the same? Not music wise, obviously, but it seems to me that EVERY song revolves around..
1. How much money they have. 2. How many women they get. 3. What cars they drive Etc. etc. etc. Forever and ever until the day you die. Then along came 50 Cent, and he at least could back up the usual bravado claims, what with being shot nine times (not that he ever talks about that, ahem), and, more fool us, we all thought this guy might actually have something NEW to say. Cue second single, and here he is, dancing with Snoop Dogg, talking about girls, cars and money, saying the exact same things as a million other idiots before him. Don't expect things to have changed for this, either. The first single from his new album, it's a TERRIBLE "attempt" at being sexy, as he uses every braincell he has (about four, I imagine) to use candy as a metaphor. So he wants you to lick his lollipop. No, I'm really not making that up. When it comes to the part where he says "I'm the Luuuuuuurve Doctor" you're not feeling his style or feeling his flo, you're wishing you could use a final tenth bullet to complete his set. AWFUL, awful stuff. The_Curmudgeon_Hates_You@yahoo.co.uk

Cat's music ain't worth half a Quarter,
This review is from: Candy Shop / Disco Inferno (Audio CD)
50 cent is just operating musically from the EMinem&Dr.Dre Factory of music making as to challenging himself&it shows here. still Mumbling&Stuttering to predictable Music&Dime a Dozen lyrics that he could write while washing the Dishes. He talks alot of smack for a cat who is just putting out tired music.

Worst Song of the Century,
By musicfan "afi" (Florida Usa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Candy Shop / Disco Inferno (Audio CD)
This might well be the worst song of the 21st century, the beats are horrible, the lyrics are completely silly, the music video is really bad and 50 has zero talent, just all image, and he doesn't have any substance and there is zero chemistry between 5-0 and olivia.
This song is a mess, a truly absolutly mess.

A Kid's Review

Why do you guys think that 50 cent shouldnt stick out? 50 is the most high paying rapper and with his new CD, The Massacre, 50 will have even more popularity all over the world. Also, about the whole dissing other rappers....he was only giving them a taste of their own medicine. 50 Cent obvisouly deserves to have a booming year.

"I'll take ya to the Candy Shop, I'll let ya lick the lollipop"
For one thing, 50 Cent sucks. So do these two singles. Maybe that's why 50 Cent performs them. G-Unit sucks. Money doesn't. And that's what 50 Cent knows. He's using it to his advantage. Why does he go from being likable on "Power of the Dollar" to being a thugged out ladies man hypocrite on "The Massacre"? Money my friend. It's all about the Benjamins. And you know what? 50 got alot of it! The man's a genius. Oh yeah, that kiss with Game was very funny. Did I mention 50 Cent sucks? Yes? Has it gotten through to the million people who bought his record in the first week? No? Will it ever? *Sighs and shakes head* Doubt it... Did I mention these singles suck? And did I mention the snitch is a genius?
