very easy to follow instructions and some usual @ unusual projects. worth buying for the peacock alone; I intend to have at least three of these strutting thru my garden.

4.0 out of 5 stars Unusual Projects, October 23, 2011
This review is from: Cane, Rush and Willow: Weaving with Natural Materials (Paperback)
This book consists of these chapters:

Tools, Materials, and Techniques
Decorative Weaving
Shakers and Lanterns
Baskets
Chair Seating
Outdoor Structures
Screens

In addition, there's an Introduction, a list of Suppliers and Contributors, and an Index.

I find this book to be generally helpful. It's especially good in the chair seating section and in the outdoor structures section. There aren't many books that explain how to weave with cane, rush, and willow, so this is a good reference.
