5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
I am a professional dog trainer and keep these in my small retail area for clients to purchase. Treat bags are a necessity! 2.0 out of 5 stars Treat Tote
Didn't work very well for me because the plastic clip isn't very strong, and would fall off. Would probably work better on one's jeans, but it gets cold here, and I had hooked it on my jacket pocket.

The treat bags you find at pet stores are usually much larger and bulky, don't attach well and get in your way. These are the perfect size, easy to get your hand into, and never fall off your belt/jeans or whatever you have it attached to! They wash extremely well in the washing machine and my personal treat bag is over 3 years old and still in excellent condition!

5.0 out of 5 stars works better than any others, August 29, 2008
This review is from: Canine Hardware Treat Tote Small, 1 Cup (Colors Vary) (Misc.)
The drawstring feature keeps treats in and locks furry noses out, without effecting the integrity of the bag. It has a sturdy clip, which is much easier to use than the ones that have to be worn with a belt, and stays put even when doggy thieves try to steal the entire bag at the Bark Park. It lasts through tugging and daily training sessions admirably.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Treat Bag, January 7, 2008

This is a great treat bag for training. It holds over a full bag of training type treats (single bite treats for your dog). It clips onto your pants or a belt or your pocket and stays put. The drawstring makes it easy to close, as well as easy to open. I really like it.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of each size!, March 26, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I would recommend getting one of each size. I have small hands and bf has large ones. Since we are both active in treating our 9 week old pup, having one of each size has been very beneficial. :) Highly recommend!

***UPDATE***: 4-29-09 I have been using the small in puppy classes and in our class we play a game called pass the puppy while the owners are in a sitting position. I like the ability to 'lock' the treats up in the tote so other noisy pups cannot get in their and steal 'em :) I have used it with jeans and spandex pants with no issues with the clip keeping it on. I have even jogged/run with it clipped on and it stays perfectly! Great buy!

great product, very helpful for the puppy training. only drawback is that it's fairly unattractive but so is a jacket pocket full of kibble.... I'd go with the tote

5.0 out of 5 stars a must have for training your dog!, September 10, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I spent weeks using a sandwich bag and constantly reaching up for it on the table to train my dog. Never again! The Treat Tote is perfect for keeping your treats close and frees up a hand from fumbling with opening and holding a bag. I can give my puppy treats quicker while using the Treat Tote.

The Treat Tote can easily be lined with a sandwich bag as well to avoid having to clean it. Also can double as a drink holder for your bottled water or soda when not using as treat holder. Can also use this to hold your grocery bag and paper towels for cleaning up after dog when out on a walk when not using it as a treat holder. Many more uses for this cool pouch than just treats!

The pants clip clips easy to pants and doesn't appear to be flimsy where it would break after a short amount of time. I like the rainbow colored draw strings.

Yes, I was using a baggie and a clip to hold incentives when training our pound puppy on his walks. This is a big improvement. My only gripe is that the lining is not attached to the outer shell, so it tends to bunch up. Scout says that's because I need to put in more treats for him. If you have really large hands, you might prefer a larger pouch. But overall I'm happy with this treat tote.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little bag!, May 2, 2008

This is an easy to use treat bag. It holds about a cup of any training treats. I use it when I lead obedience classes and when I am working with my own dogs. It easily clips to your waist or it can be put on your belt using the loop. I just clip it to my pants or a pocket. Pull the string and the bag closes so dogs can't help themselves. :-)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality Treat Pouch, November 14, 2010

This is a really nice treat pouch - like the size and as others have said, easy to clean - just turn inside out, wash and let air dry. It stays on very well also - never had a problem with it falling off. The drawstring closure is very easy to use. Size is perfect too - if you're wondering, definitely get the 2 cup if your dog is in training, the 1 cup is very small.

The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because of what it lacks. It would have been nice to have a little pocket on the outside to put an (unused) poop bag and/or a clicker. The other thing I noticed is that the inside pocket does bunch up a bit and makes it difficult to get to the bottom of the bag easily. All in all though, it's a nice bag. And one more note: It would be nice to be able to choose your color vs. being told colors vary and having to accept whatever they happen to ship.

We have both sizes of these pouches and they are both great for carrying and storing treats. They seal up pretty well and keep the treats fresh for a few days. It could really use a small pocket for a clicker but that hasn't stopped us from buying more for friends.
