There is nothing more miserable that canker sores and if you have them, you know just what I mean. But this product truly shortens the length of time the sore is present and makes it more bearable in the meantime. It is the only thing I have found that works and I have tried everything!

I have had the most awful canker sores in my mouth, so painful that I could not even eat, talk straight, or concentrate at times.

I figured out that I mainly get canker sores from soft drinks, so I cut down, but now I don't have to worry nearly as much.

When I put one of these wonderful things in my mouth and adhere it to the sore, the pain goes away on the worst sore in less than a couple minutes.

The only issue is actually adhering the canker melts to the sore. This requires you to keep the tab stationary for a couple minutes where you want it to adhere, and it feels rather awkward for the first few minutes.

However, it is well worth it for hours of being pain free ...

Best of all, if I put this on a new sore, the process of healing is accelerated greatly.

I would have these painful sores in certain places in my mouth for weeks. Now, I only have to endure the pain for a few days at the worst, and even in those days I can adhere canker melts and stop the pain.

Nothing ever worked for me, but this one is worth every penny.

I've also tried everything and this seems to be the only product that can shorten the life of cankers. It can stop them from fully developing if you catch them soon enough. Once the canker has developed this may help relieve the pain, but you may still have to suffer through its regular lifespan.

Finally, relief for canker sore sufferers! When I read reviews for this product, I thought they sounded too good to be true, but I am so glad I took a chance and tried cankermelts! They are the only product I know of that really helps canker sores go away, and they really dull the pain. Also, if you put use one as soon as you bite your lip or cheek, it actually prevents a canker sore from forming. For maximum effectiveness, you should follow the directions and keep a cankermelt on the sore at all times until it goes away. However, like some others reviewers, I use them mostly at night and only when I think of replacing it throughout the day. They still make a huge difference.

The reason I am only giving four stars is because they are a little awkward to use. A canker melt resembles a flat disc of hard candy which softens and becomes sticky in your mouth and adheres to your ulcer. Also, they claim that the taste is hardly noticeable, but it tastes like sweet coffee to me. It's not a bad taste, but it gets old after a while.

Still, I highly recommend canker melts. I am stocking up so I won't be caught without them!

Cankersores are so painful, and I get them kind of often. I have a pretty high-stress job, and that's what triggers them for me. As soon as a project get completed, and I begin to relax a little, they start to pop up. The best part about Cankermelts is that they cut the healing time down considerably. I used to feel one coming, put on a bunch of mouth-pain gel and then just wait a couple of weeks for it to go away. Now it only take a few days to clear up, and I can go back to eating and talking like normal again, without the searing pain. This product works.

I've suffered from these sores for nearly four decades. (Thanks for the genetic legacy, Pops!) In those 40-some years I've tried every so-called remedy known (and some not known). The best I came to hope for was just a little pain relief and 10-14 days of misery. I almost passed this product by as another "crack-pot remedy." I'm glad I didn't! It took a little effort to figure out how to best get the disk to stay to my beginning little sore, but once I did the results were just as they said. 4 days and it was gone! I'm not completely jumping for joy, yet. It'll take two or three times for me to completely trust that this product works. But at least this one time I can say I've saved myself and everyone around me from two weeks of mouth pain!

The Cankermelts are wonderful! I never expect a product to work miracles, but these have far surpassed my expectations. It seems that the sore still goes through the normal phases of healing, although it happens much faster than normal. Also, when the disc is in place, you cannot feel the sore at all.
I can't imagine being able to eat while the discs are in place because they are a little awkward. For this reason, I only wear them at night, but they work just as well. Here's my advice to you: don't get caught with a canker sore and no Cankermelts! I'm stocking up right now...just in case.

The product is very difficult to get to stay in place. The directions call for constant contact of the product with the sore for at least 24 hours, which means reapplying the product many times per day. Plus, the product is unsightly if applied toward the front of the mouth - like black tar on your teeth. The product may in fact help to heal canker sores more quickly, and I hate to give a negative review, because there are so few options for canker sore sufferers like myself, but unfortunately, I did not find this product practical to use.

I have suffered with horrible canker sores my whole life, and have never found anything that actually worked. Recently I got an awful sore right before my husband and I were going to be going out of town for the weekend for a wedding. I searched online for a miracle cure because I didn't want to be miserable on our trip. I found these and wanted to try them, but they don't sell them here in Utah and I knew I wouldn't get them on time if I ordered some. Luckily, my parents from Seattle were able to find them there, and they were going to the wedding also, so brought them to me. As soon as I put one on the sore it relieved the pain completely! Each tablet can last a couple of hours, and as soon as one would be almost melted I'd put on another one, and by the end of the weekend my sore was just about gone! That was after 4 days, just like the box said! I definately recommend trying these!
