good with few draw backs,
This review is from: The Cannabible 3 (v. 3) (Paperback)
This book is amazing, best of the three(i own them all). Better layout and pictures. Some more easy to find strains then the other versions. I'll say on thing, if you like cannabis at all you will love this book. HOWEVER, there is something in this book that really upset me. There is a large tone of vegan elitism in this book. The intro is a 12 page essay on the evils of modern society in every way including bashing many things used to create and sell his book. I felt it was insulting and over the top in every way.
But dont let that stop you from a other wise great book.

Volume Three is HIGH QUALITY,
This review is from: The Cannabible 3 (v. 3) (Hardcover)
A very dank follow up to volumes 1 & 2 (That means really, really great to all you non-smokers). Spectacular photgraphs and microspopic photography thats gets you up close and personal with the anatomy of a bud. A lot of references back to the first to volumes which truly gives the feel of a science expirement. An exploration into a new species never before produced in in such a professional publication. Journey to a new land with the Cannabible 3!

Out of all the books on my bookshelf the Cannabible is the most looked at. I wonder why... Has a lot of the newer strains coming out of the california medical dispenseries within the past year. If you enjoy cannabis in any form then this book is a must, as well as the first two.

Canna III,

If you are looking for some advanced info on a variety of marajuana strain's, then this is the book for you. From growing conditions to flowering time, this book has it all. Although the tasting notes are thorough, keep in mind that they are only an opinion and that there is a variety of goodies out there, especially here in the Humboldt Nation!

I Like It, But.....,
This review is from: The Cannabible 3 (v. 3) (Hardcover)
Out of all three volumes of the Cannabible, I would have to say that Vol. 3 is far and away my favorite of the series. The photos of the plants themselves are top notch and the information about each strain is very detailed and well researched. However, there are a couple of things about this volume of the Cannabible that aren't so cool. Much like another reviewer on this page, Christopher Hughes, I had issues with the intro to this book. Twelve pages are dedicated to pushing an anti-corporation, evil government, vegan agenda. If you choose to follow this particular line of thinking, then that's fine but don't push it on me. Secondly, I have a problem with the short one page essay titled, "Does Pot Cause Cancer?". My issue with this essay comes at its conclusion when the writer, who I assume is Jason King, states, "So to answer my question, does pot cause cancer? No. And not only does it not cause cancer, it can cure it, too!". Woah....really?! First off, I have absolutely no clue where Mr. King got his information. As far as I know the jury is still out on whether cannabis causes cancer or not. Some studies have said yes, while others have answered with a resounding "NO". I fully believe that cannabis can and does help those who have cancer but telling your readers that it cures it is dangerous and wrong. It's obvious that Jason King is very passionate about what he does and I think he did a great job with the Cannabible Vol. 3, but his inclusion of politics and bad science keep this book from getting the five star rating it would otherwise deserve.

Product arrived quickly & in good condition. Like the previous 2, this is a good reference book. Not as technically in depth as some botany & grow books. Doesn't have close to every strain out there. However, nice pictures & informative on a brief & concise level. If you want more in depth specific information on a strain or a massive list of strains, then I'd advise looking online, as any book containing that would be huge & become obsolete by time of publication.

Great book for Genuine Cannabis Enthusiasts,
This review is from: The Cannabible 3 (v. 3) (Paperback)
I have read many cannabis books and "The Cannabible 3" is by far the best.
Too many cannabis books are written by botanists who enjoy marijuana. Jason King is a cannabist (cannabis enthusiast) that also happens to like botany. The pictures are great, including many dried bud shots that other books lack. Jason really knows his stuff and I truly believe that he has smoked every one of the strains in this book.
