Apart from the content of the book that I personally find very helpful, the book is very reader friendly which fisrt of all meand professional layout design and font selection. You never get tired reading the book just because it is well composed from the structural and typographic points of view.

And of course the book covers a lot of topics that may interest people who make their first steps in growing: economy, safety, growing itsel etc. May be for some real botany experts there could be information gaps in this book but I find this book a great helping hand.

I never knew growing could be so relaxing, Until I started reading this wonderful book.

I'll admit I was intimidated, and overwhelmed thinking I couldn't grow a plant. I can't even grow a simple houseplant.

After reading this book I had the tools and the information to grow.

This book gives you all the tools to succeed in growing a heathy plant.

A must buy for the beginner or novice.

K, so i wanted a book that would describe how to start a closet grow and it did but not in quite the detail i was hoping, anyway it does show in great detail how to grow them properly lighting and planting pots and strains along with some seed seller sites. Great book def. recommend it!

I got this for my husband because he likes to learn how to grow all kinds of things and he likes it a lot. I wish it was legal to grow so we could actually try out some of the things in the book. We received it a few days ago and he has already finished it! He says it was easy reading and helpful for the future when it is legal here!

If you have some experience with growing anything besides your typical houseplant, this book will help you. But be warned.... If you have NO experience, you could be lost in a world of jargon. You need to have some simple knowlegde of growing plants first. I have only a high school horticulture class taken over 25 years ago as my experience (besides 10+ years of basic vegetable gardening). I was able to make sense of the book, but my husband with no "classroom" experience and a lot of gardening was a little lost without me to explain some of the details. I honestly don't think there is a good "beginners" book for growing. You REALLY need to have someone to help along the way unless you like a lot of trial and error. This book will help figure out some of the trial and error parts, but they don't answer them all.

The book has a lot of good info, but the author did'nt have to many color photos to follow along with and they keep you hopeing that yours will be just like that, he has some drawings of various grow situations and machines ,, It does cover from the experienced to the begginer it does go good with the other one Jorge 's Horticulture book, between the two you should at least have a better than average start...Peace, Sugo

Impresses this neophyte. Seams almost complete (but, not quite see other ref.). A one reference source. Almost can't go wrong. So, buy it!

One of the best reads on the subject from a trusted source. Great value and very informative.

This book covers everything from selecting seeds, The compost you should use. And how not to get busted by the police. I find it rediculous that booze is legal. (Yet it will hurt you more) And pot is not. Booze makes people do crazy things and get in trouble. Grass on the other hand relaxes people and is less damaging to the body. (I think the wrong thing is legal) Also, Its great for stress and stress related illnesses. If you want to learn more its all in this book.

if you want detailed information and reference, this is not the book. nothing different then the other books. i wish a bought another one.
