I recently pruchased this cook book at a local Mennonite Market.It is GREAT.THere are a lot of every day recipes,like for jelly and jam.then there are others like bologna that masters need to do.Ive made 2 diffrent jams from this book with many compliments.I HIGHLY reccomend it!

I purchased the cook book "Canning the Amish Way:" because a friend of mine has the book and I liked the recipes. It has the best "baked" apple butter that I have ever had. I have made 32 pints of apple butter and every one I share it with, absolutely loves it. The other recipes are great also. Good book to give as a little present!
