Canning and Preserving Guides

How To Can Fruits And Fruit Spreads
Why Dry Preserve Your Own Food?

Canning fruits and fruit spreads, why can your own food? In essence you have the ability to control what you eat, when you eat and where you eat, not to mention the nutrition and pleasure you get from preserving your own food. Of course, this pleasure is even greater if you happen to be also growing your own food. If that is the case you really are in control.
In this book you will find out all you need to know about canning fruit, everything is laid out in an easy to follow manner. I do hope you get as much pleasure from preserving your own food as I do. Thanks, Mary-Beth Stenson.

A very thorough and helpful book with easy step by step instructions. As a beginner in the art of canning, I like all the suggestions and tips, especially if things don't look right. With this book, I have a better sense of how to can different fruits and vegetables. I didn't know about the difference between low and high acid fruits and the affect they have in canning. A very informative book that is great for beginners.
