This tambourine is just what we were hoping for. It is about the size of a breadplate if that helps you picture how large it is...of course a bit deeper (about 1.5 inches), but our 10 month old, 30", 18 lbs doesn't have a problem grabbing it with both hands. It is also light enough that he can carry it with one hand.

The head is a little thin, so hopefully it will last for a while - if it does break I will buy another because I really like this for the kids. I can play it myself, although because of the size it is kind of tough for an adult to play it properly.

Very nicely made and looks great with a natural, unfinished wood.

This worked perfect for my grandchildren and I to practice with until we are ready for the professional tambourine. I will be buying more for the children in our church.

I will not be using these for the traditional use, however I an SO pleased at the sturdy box they were delivered in and how smooth the surface is! These should work out great for my needs and I will surely buy more!

I build cigar box guitars and bought these to build 3 and 4 string cigar box style banjos. They work just fine for my purpose and the price can't be beat.

The tambourine we got was very thin in places on the day it arrived. It only lasted for a week and then ripped where the thin spot was. Although not expensive -- I would not recommend or buy again.
