This camera is a wonderful entry level camera that makes you feel like a pro. It's beautifully manufactured and has a strong and sturdy feel in your hand. There are little touches throughout the cameras use that will make you say "wow, I have something here." Those things matter to me, and if they do to you.. check out reviews online. HERE IS THE BOTTOM LINE: You've looked and looked at every possible camera option out there and just can't seem to find what you want.. For a quality, fully functional, and classy piece of camera machinery...look no further. You will find cameras that have features this one doesn't and vice vera.. every camera is DIFFERENT... I love this one though and will have it for quite some time.

I really love this camera. I'm a beginner but I have to say even the manual settings are intuitive. The lenses are amazing.

I'm a mirrorless guy, using mostly Sony NEX 7s, but they don't have a good long bird/wildlife lens, so I went back to the monster cams again for that purpose and got a Canon 300/f4. Seems to do the job--lots of good control, clear menu system, sharp images, shutter much quieter than Nikons tend to be. I actually sent this kit back and got the 18-135 lens with it instead. I figure as long as I'm hoisting a monster cam around, might as well have a single lens that'll do most of the day-to-day work. I was a bit concerned about the softness of images zoomed in on in the viewer, but then I realized I'm looking at a pinprick of an image that's really about 30x40 inches or so, which put things in perspective. Hate the weight but appreciate the functionality.

Bought the camera for my wife, who had been researching for a new camera for several months. She is not a professional photographer, but she takes great pictures. She wanted to upgrade from her Pentax, and this camera does just that -- a nice upgrade. Truth be told, there are functions on this camera that she is not likely to ever use. But retirement is on the horizon, and this camera will allow her to get more immersed in her hobby. We love the EOS app for the iPhone. We took our Christmas picture remotely using the app. Overall.....she is very pleased.

I upgraded from Canon T2i and love this camera. A lot heavier than my original but the results are well worth it. I'm still experimenting with this but so far it has performed very well. I am glad I made the purchase.

My first DSLR and i Love it. I have worked with the Canon 7D, the Nikon 3100 and 3200; and this is the best by a great margin. The touch and flip screen is a plus.
