Canon Eye Cup Ed-E,
By A Customer
This review is from: Canon Eye Cup Ed-E (Electronics)
If you wear eyeglasses and own a Canon camera this is a MUST. Blocks out light so you can see the viewfinder with no problem at all. Highly recommeneded!

It seemed very nice and advertised that it would fit my camera but it didn't. I returned it and the return process was flawless.

I had one of these with my elan 7e and loved it, although I did end up losing it somewhere. there is no other eyecup that I know of that is this large. It can comfortably block out all light when wearing glasses. I've tried using other brands such as the hoodeye but it just isn't large enough to be useful with glasses.
I loved it so much I bought a second one with the hopes of modifying it to fit my canon 40d (it won't fit as is). I took the regular 40d eyecup, stripped off the rubber, and superglued it to the Ed-E, works great!
