An optional accessory for the GL2, the BP-945 can deliver up to three-and-one-half hours of recording time using only the viewfinder or up to 200 minutes when only using the LCD screen. Use this battery with the following Canon camcorders: Elura, ES420V, ES75, ES8200V, ES8400V, ES8600, GL1, GL2, Optura, Ultura, Vistura, XL1, XL1S and XL2.

Not from Canon model!,

This battery, if purchased from North East Power and Battery, is not the Canon BP-945, but an equivelent. If you are looking for the actual one from Canon, I suggest buying it straight from Amazon, not from North East Power and Battery.

I use the BP-945 in my Canon XH-A1. It provides much better life than the stock battery, and charges on the same charger.
Not much more to say - it's a great buy, and it will get you from point A to point B without having to worry about running out of battery life. A great buy!

The Canon BP-945 works great, No complain. It is always best to buy a genuine batterie, plus it last almost twice longer than the BP-930.
