This is one of the cheapest 72mm UV filter out there. It is fairly good for the price with no visible image quality degradation. However flare is a big problem if you keep SUN in your composition. I guess this is expected since this filter doesn't have a coating.

I use this filter for a Canon 18-200mm lens. The filter fits well and offers the protection that the lens needs.

I got this filter to protect my 28-200mm lens, which is one of the few non-L series lenses I have. The filter fit well and did not show any weird internal reflections. The quality appears good unlike some of the cheapy filters I have seem. I am generally satisfied with the filter and would recomend it to others.Canon 72mm UV Haze Filter

I expected non-degraded images with this filter. However, I consistently found images taken with the filter off to be sharper and clearer than when it was on--it wasn't a huge difference, but it was noticeable. I had hoped to protect my lens with this, but because of the reduced quality of images, I've taken this filter off and don't plan to put it back on.

I bought this from Adorama and am positively surprised to see the filter is more than I expected for this price (less than $15). It is made in USA. From 17" monitor, I cannot find any obvious degradation of the picture quality with the filter on. It can be put on my Tamron 18-270 smoothly. I highly recommend it.

If you point the lens close to the sun or a light source, there will be some glare. But generally it's a good product at this price and even there's a canon log on it. (But I don't know whether it is an authentic one or not.)

Useful tool to keep your lens glass safe. Take it off when you're shooting. Why use a cheap filter with an expensive lens - what's the point?

I bought this filter for a 28-200mm lens and the fact that it's a thin mount makes it perfect for wide angle use. I couldn't believe the great price and the quality of the finish very good and clean.
