This is a great all around zoom lens. I bought it mostly for capturing action shots of kids soccer, baseball, etc. It has just the right amount of zoom, and it's a lot of lens for the price. The only dissappointment is the tripod that comes with it. You can't really tell from the pics in the ad, but it's a cheesy 8" tall bendy wire thing. The other accessories with the kit are decent.
