Great Images, Short Life Span,

As other reviewers have pointed out, if you own a Canon printer you will typically get the best results using Canon ink and paper. It is also true that at the time you print the Photo Paper Plus provides images that are virtually indistinguishable from the more expensive Photo Paper Pro. I have printed identical images onto both for the purpose of making the comparisons and am highly confident that no one would be able to tell without the most extreme side-by-side comparison.
There is, however, one big problem with the Photo Paper Plus. The images will fade much more quickly than the Photo Paper Pro. I have had images in a photo album that faded significantly just one year after printing. The album was kept in a cool, dark place but it made no difference. The Photo Paper Pro is designed to last for decades under similar conditions, but this paper is not. Unfortunately, Canon makes 5x7 paper only in Plus... no Pro paper is available. I have taken to using this 5x7 stock solely to generate test prints. Once I know I have a keeper, I print it onto an 8x10 sheet of Photo Paper Pro and crop away the excess. If you want to have photos either in albums or picture frames that retain vivid color you would do well to avoid the Photo Paper Plus. If you only need prints to look good for the short term than by all means buy this and save the money.

I have used the Canon photo paper for several years and I love it. The paper feeds through copiers easily and the phot quality is excellent. I have not experienced any fading of pictures or anything. I highly receommend this Canon product.

Using a Canon Printer and Canon Ink I have found non Canon paper does not produce good quality photo prints. I prefer to use 5" X 7" paper which is difficult to find. A search of Amazon produced several sources at VERY good pricing. The process was fast, efficient and produced a very satisfactory result.

The Plus paper is very close to the Pro in quality and Amazon's price is very attractive. Highly recommended!

About 2 1/2 years ago I finally got into the digital age. I began printing my own pictures and have tried every brand of photo paper out there (Kodak, HP, store brands, etc. etc.). By far, the most superior paper is Canon. They make fabulous photo paper that is reasonably priced and prints GREAT photos.
I did a wedding album using Canon photo paper and the couple I gave it to thought that the photos were as good as the photographer they'd hired, which speaks volumes to the quality of Canon paper. I'd highly recommend that people use this brand. You won't be sorry!

I would not use anything but Canon printing paper with a Canon printer. I tried another brand because I couldn't find any Canon paper in the store, it was terrible. So I went on line and found just what I needed.

I recently purchased a Canon i6210 printer and needed paper for it. The Canon printer coupled with the paper makes absolutly amazing prints. It is very difficult to tell the difference between prints on this paper and processed photos.

Tired of paying the higher prices associated with Canon brand photo paper (versus any other brand of photo paper), I decided to do a little quality comparison right at home. I bought some less expensive Microsoft photo paper that was also termed "high gloss" photo paper (by the way, you'll disover that there is clearly no industry standard of "high gloss" - it seems anything can be branded as high gloss no matter what the quality). I decided to try to print out a low-resolution photo on each type of photo paper and compare them both. For starters, my Canon printer would not even let me choose the option of low resolution when I selected any other type of photo paper aside from Canon. So I had to settle for printing a medium-resolution photo on the Microsoft paper and comparing it to the low-resolution photo printed on the Canon high gloss. AMAZING what a difference there was - the Canon paper beat out the Microsoft paper by far, even with low resolution. Furthermore, even when I swtiched to high resolution for the Microsoft paper, there was no comparison to the low resolution Canon paper. Canon really knows how to make the best photo paper - pay the price, it's well worth it.

Lightning-speed shipping, perfect product. I have a Canon printer, so I was already familiar with the product. I've used this paper to print pics for an art museum installation- what can I say, it does a professional job. If you're looking for quality photo paper, look no further.
