5.0 out of 5 stars Lens hood
I guess it's nice to have an extra one. It would have been nice if the ad for the lens had said one was included. It's possible that maybe after installing my wife's under cabinet TV with baling wire because the nuts broke loose from the cabinet top and requiring a number of beers to compose myself and be able to ignore her nibs, I misread the ad. 3.0 out of 5 stars Great product, poor shipping
I was pleased to find the lens hood at a good price. It even arrived earlier than I expected. Those were great things. However, the packaging wasn't so good. The lens hood was inside a very thin box which was inside a bubble envelope. The box was in poor shape when it arrived. The hood was fine because Canon makes it tough. I'm used to a superstore from NY...

5.0 out of 5 stars Lens hood, January 13, 2008
This review is from: Canon ET-83II Lens Hood for Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Lens (Electronics)
The lens also came with a case which I also did not notice in the ad and ordered separately. Anyone one want to buy a lens hood, case and pair of 34mm filters, none of which I need for any of my my lens'. They're going for 25%off--what a deal.

5.0 out of 5 stars works great, November 29, 2011
This review is from: Canon ET-83II Lens Hood for Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Lens (Electronics)
Its a hood, does what it say it does. A little overpriced but you get the fuzzy lining inside. fits my 70-200 just fine

5.0 out of 5 stars Great if you like to use hoods, December 30, 2010

This review is from: Canon ET-83II Lens Hood for Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Lens (Electronics)
Effective and sturdy material and works great (if you like to shoot with the hood on). Its long enough that you might not have to worry about light reflection or glare. A bit cumbersome to put on and take off because of the size and because the lens is already long... well, the hood makes the lense even longer

I'm used to a superstore from NY packaging my products and there is no way it would arrive with a crushed box from them. So, bottom line, this is a great product, just the company I bought it from did not pack it well enough.
