This AC Adapter sure saves on batteries. Although it is not a device to use in the wilds it is sure handy to use at your home photography work shop. It could be setup in a permanent location that is handy for you where it could be stored(wound and hung)on a wall hook, easily accessible whenever the need arises. I use mine fairly frequently.

Useful for home and you can save bateries, I use whenever I connect my camera to the PC.

It's a must have addition to the A530 camera, especially when learning to use the camera, and running slide shows on tv. Saves big time on batteries!!! The only reason I rated it less than 5 stars is that it's a little large.

Even if you have rechargeable batteries and a charger, this is a good item to have. If you are like me you are going to spend a lot of time attaching your camera to your computer and trying new and interesting things with your pictures. The AC adapter simply allows me to not worry about running down my batteries and I don't need to keep recharging my batteries often so when I am out taking pictures I always have an extra set of batteries that are fully charged. The only con I can see and this is not with the product but with the description is that this adapter also works with the Canon A550 which isn't listed even though this is the exact adapter recommended by Canon for the A550.

Adapter works great with my Canon SX100IS camera. Has helped me save on batteries.

Bought this adapter to reduce my use of batteries--especially when downloading to computer. Not sure if I'll buy rechargable batteries. This has worked great for me. Best price too.

Glad I found this item on the net. fits my Canon PowerShot A460 excellently and works perfectly. If only it could store power so I could take it along with me wherever I go.

This adapter is what I asked for and I already new it was big and bulky before I ordered from reading other reviews. It does what it advertises to do. Only dificulty I had was finding the one that said it would work with Cannon A520, I did not want to asume anything.

Works great, easy to use and store. It is just what I need.

This is excellant to use if you just want to look into all the details of your camera and take your time without the fear of using up battery life.
I,am glad I purchased this adapter becaue I am a novice user and need time to check everything out slowly.
