Amazon.com has one of the lowest prices for this product. Office depot also sells this product online for $[...], but watch out - if you go to the retail store they have it priced for $[...]. I mentioned this price discrepancy to the checkout clerk who was nice enough to verify the online price on the store computer and honor the $[...] price.
The only reason that I am giving this product **** is because the ink tanks, especially the black, get used up pretty quickly. And good luck with the check/clean print nozzle function, because that will drain the ink tanks even faster.
But don't substitute - don't use the generic brands. I had been using the Office Depot brand. I was paying less for the generic ink and the print quality was the same as the Canon inks. But then my printhead nozzle started clogging up. A whole series of nozzle clean funtions were unsuccessful - I went through one color ink and two black ink tanks while doing that. Somebody told me to pull out the printhead and let it soak in about 1/2 inch of warm water in a bowl for a few hours. The clog in the printhead did not go away. I called Canon to find out the price of a new printhead and was shocked to find out that the printhead would cost me more than the price I had paid for the printer itself. Somebody else told me that the clog could be because of the crappy Office Depot ink. So I bought the Canon ink package, did the nozzle clean test a couple of times, and, no more clogs! That was a year ago. Have been buying only Canon ink since and keeping away from generics. Print quality is good.
Bottomline - Use brand name inks, pay more, but most likely avoid printhead problems; or buy Office Depot/Staples store brand inks, pay less, but possibly end up with a headache.

I ordered what I saw in the photo Canon ink cartridges from Gener Ink, but I was sent a "no name" brand. Literally, there was no name on it. I think this is false advertising. It took several emails and me having to send back the no name cartridges without getting reimbursed for the postage, but my acct Amazon says has been credited. I can't say I learned a lesson, because I thought I was getting what was pictured. Just order from Canon if you want Canon - it is a good brand.

I installed the cartridge in my printer just a few days after receiveing it. My printer immediated claimed that the cartridge was less than half full. Only 2 months later of realitively light use (less than 50 pages total printed), and now I am getting warnings about the cartridge being nearly depleted.

This is NOT a problem with the brand - my guess is that it was on the shelf for a long time before being sold.

I have used this product for my Canon Pixma with no problems. I have found the best prices on Amazon and do not have to run around to shop for the cartridges. Can usually purchase with free shipping.

I'm happy with the buy .It arrived fast and packaging was good.

I bought this cannon printer about 8 years ago and it still prints great! These ink cartriges were about a 1/3 of the price for the new wireless printer I just purchased. I hope they keep making these!

This product was exactly what I was expecting, not a generic lookalike. I am very satisfied. I can't find them any other place except at Amazon. I figured every product I looked for was here why not the ink.

I own a Canon MP390 combo printer and I have been using these tanks for a couple years now. With this printer, the print head is separate from the tanks so you are only buying replacement ink ... a plus in my book as reflected in the cost. The tanks fit perfectly and are easy to install. I only do general printing so I can't comment on specific details on the ink itself. My print outs looks great and I am very satisfied with this product. If your printer calls for these tanks then don't hesitate to buy this combo pack.

These cartridges aren't stocked anymore at my local store so I was glad to find this good deal on Amazon.

The quality of the Canon cartridges is better than the store brands, and I've always been happy that these cartridges are less expensive than most. They last a pretty long time too. I generally get about 80-100 full-page black and white text; maybe about 20 full page color photos. Photos come out nice (for an inkjet) and the photo cards I mail to friends seem to make it through the mail without smearing or running, so the ink is somewhat indelible once it has dried thoroughly. All in all, good quality. Only thing is that I wish the canon cartridges were recyclable or refillable. More land-fill fodder, I guess.
