Four stars as they seem to function well and are inexpensive, but took a star away as my hand got lots of yellow ink on it from the drippy package it was shipped in. Be careful taking the plastic shielding off. The ink pooled up inside and splashed on my hand.

Bought this product taking a chance that it will perform like the expensive kind made by Canon. After getting a little ink on my hands installing the cartridges, I decided to try it out printing color. I was very impressed with the quality of the print. I could NOT tell a difference at all. I would buy this product again.

Thought this was a great buy, but when I went to open the blue ink it was all over the package and it was a mess cleaning it up and hard to get off your hands. Otherwise the others were great. Maybe something can be done to clear this problem up.

This generic version of the Canon ink cartridges, as other reviewers have already noted, tends to leak. To date, the cartridges have all worked well in my Canon printer, so I have no complaints with the product's performance. But the leakage happened in 1 out of the 3 cartridges I opened--a Magenta ink--and be aware, this is not cranberry juice! This is an intensely colored, indelible ink! So when it dripped on my walking shorts--well, goodbye shorts. It also didn't wash off my hands, eventually wearing off after two days. But in the meantime, strangers probably wondered if I was the guy who robbed the local First National. Sure I saved money buying these inks but now I have to invest in a new pair of shorts. So, if you're looking for economy Canon-type ink, be prepared to get indelibly messy!!!

I purchased these because of the low price. The first cartridge I opened
ran out all over my hand. I tried to get the leaking to stop and finally got it in the computer. After printing 12 pages of that color it was very little improvement in the smears due to excess ink. This ink does not provide the quality you want. I have asked twice for a return slip and have not heard from the company yet. Good luck if you buy this product.

One of the ink cartridges was broken! Two leaked as soon as I removed the seals. Not too good so far!

I purchased this ink to use with my Canon Pixma MP610 printer. I do a lot of digital scrap-booking and this ink is just as good as the name brand stuff. Shipping was fast and the packaging was very good. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to save money and still get the same quality of printing you would get with the more expensive cartridges. These cartridges do come with the ink chip so your printer does reset the ink level each time you replace one.

Bought this 'compatible' ink from 77ink. Ink arrived fairly quickly. I plugged it into my Canon MP530. Even though the shape is a little different than original cartridges, it still fits fine.

But then I tried printing and it printed a page will all colors except the one I replaced. I plugged in original Canon cartridge and everything was back to normal.

Product works great, printed pictures are good, the ink does get on your hands - so use caution when replacing your old ones.

BEWARE of these ink cartridges!!! I ordered several of the black cartridges as well as 1 full set. The first cartridge I opened virtually exploded coving me and my desk in ink. The second one did as well. When I cleaned up the cartridge enough to place in the printer, the printer did not recognize the new cartridge and of course did not work. I was surprised that Amazon would carry such a defective product.
