I purchased this product, it is the genuine canon ink, in the box exactly as pictured. Fast, free shipping and an excellent price, I am a very happy customer.

The price for this product is far less than what I pay in my local stores. Works great in my i860 printer.

I own and use a Canon Pixma i8500 printer, and use it almost on a daily basis. I have only used Canon 6 ink for it so I have no comparisons with other products, but I have never had a problem with the ink. The coverage is excellent, never clogs, and is completely used up. My only complaint is a fairly common one--it is expensive. I have 8 ink cartridges to buy for the printer, and thank heavens they don't all run out at once. Amazon's price is much cheaper than our local stores, so I usually buy at Amazon. Great product!

I purchased this product based on other reviews that said they received genuine Canon Ink. I was very disappointed when I received my shipment and found that I did not get Canon Ink. Because off brand ink produces photos with an unknown life I will be throwing these in the garbage.

I have used Canon inks in my i9900 and am now selling photographs. The only ink to touch my printer.

Well, I'd like to say that I'm using my photo printer for photos only and I do, most of the time but, from time to time, when my laser printer is out of toner or because it just happens that the photo printer is closer and it's on and I feel too lazy to do the right thing, I print a few pages of ordinary text on ordinary paper and, invariably, I run out of black ink faster than I consume the other colors.

So, getting some extra black ink is a necessity and this happens to be a pretty good deal. At this price, I see no reason to bother with cheap deals because, if you do, your prints quality is likely to suffer and your printer is likely to suffer.

I always buy name brand. In the past I would try to save money by buying off brand ink. After the off brand ink stopped up about 4 good printers then I put all the printers and the off brand ink (about 40 tanks of ink) in the trash. This Canon brand ink works great and always has. For about 3 years now I still have the same printer with the name brand Canon ink. Thanks

Very easy to use and very functional, as expected. There was no spilling of ink when I changed the cartridge.

Product was received in mail in the promised time. Product is working great. I would purchase the same in the future.

It is a normal black ink refil. It has been harder to find in stores so I am glad it is here. But I still think it is a bit overpriced, but so are all ink cartridges.
