I bought this battery to use with my 30D SLR camera. This battery does not really fit in size. You have to squeeze it in and you definitely regret it afterwards since you have to use a pair of pliers to take it out. My recommendation, get the original Canon battery (which is what I ended up doing eventually)
Another tip: DO NOT BUY FROM EFORCITY, expensive but very slow shipping (14 days), no customer support, only e-mail, never got an answer anyway.

I bought this battery specifically because it is displayed online as being 1700mAh, but when I got it I noticed immediately that it is 1500mAh. I have had one of these before for my Canon EOS 20D and it worked fine for about a year and then it dropped dead on me just like that! One day it was working fine; the next it would not hold any charge at all. So I thought the 1700mAh might be a more durable battery. I did not take it up with the vendor that I bought from as it just didn't seem to be worth the hassle.
