Canon LC-E5 Battery Charger for Canon LP-E5 Li-Ion Batteries

I lost my extra battery and original charger and went looking for the Cannon replacements at Best Buy, Wal Mart and other retail outlets. If I was fortunate to find the battery, it was at a minimum - SEVENTY-THREE DOLLARS and the "Digipower" comparable was only eight dollars cheaper! The battery charger simply didn't exist - only the "comparable" chargers were available and they were from $53.00 to $70.00 retail. Then, I searched Amazon. This bundle of the Cannon battery, charger and an 8 gig card for 112.00 beats the comparables alone, without the memory card. Don't know where Wayne shopped, but if he can beat this price, God bless you!

Oh, by the way, left my charger and battery in The Ocean Beach Club in Virginia Beach - tried calling as soon as I got home - the evening of the day I checked out and got an automated answer only. No response to voice mail, messages, writing or e-mails so someone there has my originals causing the search in the first place. Boycott that resort!!!! This I throw in for free.

Just received the item in about 1 week. I was expecting to get the charger that everyone else was describing which is the one with the fold-away receptacle. What I received was a canon charger with with a cord. It works, but not at all what I was expecting to receive. I am contemplating returning the item since the last thing I want is another cord to carry around.

They canceled my order after 4 days after it had been accepted and paid for. Other items ordered at the same time from different merchants have already arrived. Won't use this company again.

For the most part, chargers are chargers. But the one thing that I really like about this charger is that there are no cords. It plugs flush into the wall. With all of the electronics that we have, it seems that we are inundated with cords. It's nice to have one less.

I never opened the package to use the product. I had purchased it as a replacement but found the lost one before it arrived. it was however, a new factory replacement for the original.

charges great!! i got mine when i purchased my camera, but if i were to loose it i would not hesitate to purchase this one!

Usually apprehensive to purchase items online. The product was exactly what I was looking for and inexpensive. I ordered it and it came the next week. Will order from this person again.

The charger came exactly as described! I was worried that it would be some "off brand" or not work, as I've had bad experiences with that in the past, but it came perfectly and fast and I couldn't be more happy!

I ordered the charger to replace the original one because a family member borrowed it and had lost theirs. It advertised exact replacement, but it is not the same one that was received with my camera. The pigtail plug is not what I expected and am disappointed in not receiving the exact replacement as advertised.
