Save your money and buy rechargables elsewhere. Batteries that aren't branded "Canon" with a travel charger go for $25-30 elsewhere including Amazon.com.

Just make sure you're getting at least 2300 mAH on the batteries, some cheap kits give you weaker 1100 mAH batteries.

I got a Canon PowerShot S1 IS camera locally. The batteries the camera came with were great, lasted a long time, but weren't rechargeable. Since I couldn't find any Canon rechargeable batteries. I bought two different high-end rechargeable brands the camera store sold me (which cost less than the Canon brand btw)--but they didn't hold a charge very long. I then got some of Radio Shack's best rechargeables and they sorely disappointed, too. Finally I found these Canon CBK4-200 batteries on Amazon and WOW, what a difference between these and all the rest! I AM AMAZED AT HOW LONG THESE HOLD A CHARGE!!! I bought TWO SETS so I always have a set charged and can charge the other while one set is being used. The CHARGER KIT is great because it is self-contained and plugs into the wall outlet. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! Great value for the money.

I purchased the Canon CBK4-200 Rechargeable Battery and Charger Kit as an accessory for my Canon Powershot S2. I used it extensively on a recent vacation, during the day my camera was used a great deal and the batteries never failed.

At night I plugged the charger in and recharged the batteries for the next days use. I had added a pack of Duracell Ultra Batteries in my camera bag as backup however; I never needed them during the three-week trip.

The charger is compact and fit easily in my camera bag; it performed flawlessly at each use. I would highly recommend this unit as a cost saving accessory for your Canon camera.

Slightly pricey for batteries; the cost of batteries alone are a little high also, but the quality is worth it. These canon batteries do last longer in the camera than other 2100mA-ish batteries on the market.

Ulltimately the conservative design is more of a hinderance than a portable functionality design, but it meets the challenge. I would encourage consumers to price the market for other alternatives and compare features. Overall the over moderate price I paid for my Canon PowerShot Rechargeable Battery & Charger Kit was higher than desired.

Having bought a Canon camera, I don't want to use any other batteries in it. My friends also suggested the same. When browsed through the Canon's official website, I found the option of buying this particular product online is not available at that time. That's when I bought it from Amazon. When I received the batteries along with the charger, I used it in my first outing and was amazed that those batteries really last longer. Inspite of taking videos and pictures occupying my 512mb flash card, the battery power remained for the subsequent day. It is advisable to buy 4 additional batteries to avoid the situation of not able to capture some good pictures because of battery drain. When compared with other cheap batteries and chargers I always recommend to go by the Camera manufacturer's advice.

I use the Canon PowerShot S1 IS 10x Zoom with the 3.2 pixels.
I am totally addicted to this type of photography.
We heard the Canon recharger and battery set was expensive..But I wanted to stick with the same company for all my supplies.
These batteries and the extra set I bought are in constant use.
We have a set at our vacation home and here at the house.
I didn't want to be without because I spend a great part of my day with the camera.
I need to have fast and fully loaded batteries...
I am happy with this set.

I purchased a Canon A520 recently and I added this charger to my order. I dont know what I would do without it! It's a great item...not to mention the $$$ you save when you don't buy a set of batteries every week!

This charger works quickly and is a convenient size. In a two plug outlet, it will allow something else to be plugged into the second plug. The batteries are also very good. They have lasted a very long time - much longer that even the non-rechargable batteries that are designed for electronic devices. I am quite happy.

The charger takes around 4 hours to charge. It comes with the batteries which are good and they take around I think 300 photos per charge. I have not really counted them
