5.0 out of 5 stars Less than half the cost of the Canon brand
I originally ordered a set of 8 ink cartridges which included 5 black PGI-35 and 3 color CLI-36 cartridges. That bundle sells on Amazon for $36.99. Since I used much more color than black and white I ordered more of these. As I said in my review of the 8-cartridge kit, I have not seen any difference in the print quality or life of these cartridges compared with the...

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay for the price
After reading the comments prior to purchase I thought I would be getting an awesome product. It is average. The quality is not even close to some of the comments left. I will just stick to buying the actual Canon products from now on.

Since I used much more color than black and white I ordered more of these. As I said in my review of the 8-cartridge kit, I have not seen any difference in the print quality or life of these cartridges compared with the much more expensive Canon brand. Since these cartridges through Amazon are selling for less than 1/2 the cost of the Canon brand, using these cartridges would represent a significant savings over the life of the printer.

5.0 out of 5 stars On the Cheap, April 14, 2010

A Canon cartridge came with the PIXMA mini320. It started out making a mess of several photo sheets, but after I took the cartridge out of the printer and cleaned the mess, it worked fine. I mention this because: "You pay your money and you take your chances." I haven't had this problem with the generic ink cartridges, but if I do, it won't discourage me too much.

By the way, I get my 4X6 photo paper at the local Dollar Store - 20 sheets for a buck. Results are the same as with the fine quality Canon paper. My camera is a Canon XSi. At home I use a HP PhotoSmart printer. Generic ink for the HP is less costly and I can make prints up to 8-1/2" X 11". I use the PIXMA mini when I need prints on the spot - which actually is quite often.

Whenever possible, while maintaining high standards, I do things on the cheap.

This brand has worked fabulously with my canon pixma. I use Canon paper and this ink and my 4x6 pics are as good as if I ordered them from Shutterfly. If you're looking to finally print off all those pics stuck on your camera, this is your best bang for your buck.
