Canon's original inks are ridiculously expensive. These inks are not. They do have a tendency to leak a bit when you first open them. They do tend to bind up frustratingly often, causing you to do multiple head cleanings. And I have yet to find a knock-off Yellow CLI-8 ink that is any good at all.

If you need ink and you need it cheap, you might as well get these. But make the sacrifice to get the real Canon Yellow ink, it's worth it for good images.

I tried this six-pack for my Canon IP6600D since it was the cheapest on Amazon. Cartridges arrived individually packaged and sealed in a small box. When I opened the first cartridge (photo cyan) and removed the orange tab (seal), it spewed ink all over my pants and fingers and started dripping. Luckily, none got on the carpet but my fingers are still stained as I type this.

I'm obviously not going to risk using this and wrecking my printer. I will be returning this product. I think Canon and the other printer manufacturers completely rip you off with their toner prices, but even a 1% chance of leaking is not acceptable. I guess I have to go back to the Canon cartridges unless these suppliers are willing to guarantee your printer (and clothes!).

Received promptly but my printer cannot recognize two of the cartridges. Will not buy them again.

I use this ink for my graphic design and photo projects. The quality of the print is very good, but unlike my Canon ink, the colors from this ink don't come out like what I have on my screen. However, this is probably due to my screen being calibrated to fit the Canon ink instead of this ink. If you calibrate your monitor, you will be able to match the colors on the screen to the prints.

I would definitely recommend this product. It's incredibly affordable and useful if you can calibrate your monitor. The quality is very good. It doesn't streak when I print or have bands. You can also recycle these cartridges to get some money back, which is a big plus.

Loved the printer, hated the freequency and cost of ink cartridge! This seller sells quality product at very attrictive prices. I had one cartridge that ran out a bit too early -- was replaced by seller within days!

I bought these just to try, as ink is so expensive for printers, but I was not expecting much and they lived up to it. I have a PiXMA iP6600D printer and these ink cartridges are advertised to be compatible with it. I tried two of the colors and neither was recognized by the printer and one of the inks leaked all over my hand when I openned it. If I could have given it no stars I would have.

I bought this pack of replacement inks as they were much cheaper than going to the office supply chains to buy them. I was a little reluctant as I was concerned that since they are not Canon cartridges that there might be a problem. The first cartridge I replaced, yellow, worked fine but now I have three that I have to replace- Photo cyan, photo magenta and magenta. The magenta cartridge seems to be defective. The printer gives me an error message every time I close the cover. I've uninstalled and reinstalled all the cartridges and turned the printer off and back on but no luck. Now I am stuck without a working printer until I can get to the office supply store and pay through the nose for a magenta cartridge. Now what seems like a great deal is a big hassle. Not sure I would buy these again.

Incredibly good product for the price. I am using it with my Pixma iP6700D, and it is doing a good job on both, texts and photos. Please do not expect the Canon quality, although this ink gets very close to it. I consider it a very reasonably priced alternative to the expensive Canon equivalent.

I can't believe I have been without ink for 2 months because I couldn't afford to pay 15.00 for each cartridge times six. I decided to look for the ink at Amazon to find it cheaper, and boy did I hit the jackpot! I just got my package and I ripped it open and they all fit, no spills and was able to print right away. Prints beautifully. I am very happy with my purchase and I definitely will be ordering at least three more sets of this product to have on hand. Delivery was very prompt. I'am so glad I decided to check out Amazon. Thank you Viamart!

Great ink cartridges! Can't believe I got them all for such a good price! Haven't had a single problem, and have been able to print 37 pages of photos so far!
I recommend this product!
