This package is a good deal for the price. The XSi with lens kit is available in the market for around $899. For extra $30 I thought this was a cool bargain.
I did have some problems with the shipment though from this seller which were kinda resolved.
The XSi camera with the 18-55mm lens is cool. I took about 130 pictures and it has come out really great. I took pictures of flying birds, planes, landscapes, sunrise etc. I like the feel of the camera in my large hands. It feels really solid.
In this kit, I got an extra battery, camera bag and LCD screen protectors which I was most interested in. The tripod, filters etc are a bonus for me.
I am satisfied with this purchase and am happy with the XSi which is my first DSLR camera.

I absolutely love this camera..... the screen is great and all the features are easy to get to without having to click around on a menu to much.

This is a great camera but stay away from [...] who indicates they sell this camera and two lenses for $699. Later you find out thay bait and swith to CPC lenese without notice. The link I got to the was off of consumer reports. [...] are borderline crooks!!!! Watch out.
