My 18yr old Daughter is a budding, but extremely talented, artist. I bought her this package for Christmas
becuase the camera itself came so highly recommended by her instructers. The package has everything she needed to to begin serious photography without the frustration of..."if I only had..."
I saved hundreds of $ over buying each item piece meal...the quality of every item included was excellent

I did a lot of research before finally purchasing my first dSLR. I had outgrown my point and shoot and this kit offered all that I wanted together in one package and at a price that couldn't be beat when all my needs were considered. I compared a lot of other packages, attempted to put together my own kit and decided that this was a great kit at a great price. The things that sold me on this one were the inclusion of the tripod and the fact that both lenses were Canon lenses.

I've had this kit now for a little over a month. The image shown is exactly what was sent to me, except the bag looks a bit different. It arrived on time, and in good condition. Everything has worked well so far.

The camera bag is quite large, and fits both lenses, the camera, and a lot of smaller items. It is an excellent storage bag, and allows me to keep everything together. But because of its size it isn't that great for taking with you on the streets. I'm using a smaller bag to hold the camera on days when I know I don't need another lens.

Both lenses are Canon lens, with the Image Stabilization feature- which I think will be imperative for those telephoto shots. The telephoto lens allows for amazing distances. I can't wait to really need it. The tripod does exactly what it should. It's very light, which probably means it cheap, but it comes with a bag, making it easily portable- so the weight is a good thing for me.

Overall, I'm very happy with this kit.

I've been a photographer for about a decade and was ready to take the plunge to a more professional level camera. The T1i hasn't disappointed me in the least, however I can see why people would save the extra $100 or $200 more to go up to the T2i or better yet the 50D, etc. That said, the T1i is a great weight for carrying as you go. The color "straight out of the camera" is incredible. The stock lens EF-S 18-55 is a great lens. I'd suggest it for anyone in a similar position.

The Canon EOS Rebel T1i is a great camera. Even used in auto as a point and shoot it takes fantastic photos plus gives you the ability to choose your own settings and the ability to change the lense as the need arises.

I have been a point and shoot camera guy for a long time, and have taken some good pictures. Now with the DSLR camera, EVERY picture is a great picture. So many features, so much to learn, but I love all of it.
The Camera is great, you might want to get a bigger memory card (High speed class 6 or better if you do a lot of sequence shooting) but other than that you can shoot pictures and take great HD video 1080P.
TriPod was good, not cheep.
All other associates were average

I really now understand that i should have only bought the camera and the lens. The other items (Card reader, tripod, the case, etc.) are not as good as the camera. Buy these items seperately and carefully!!!

The camera is fantastic and I'm realing lovin' all the different things I can do with it. So far I have taken engagement, wedding and senior picture. I also love taking nature pictures with it. Look forward to many years of enjoyment! Exceptional product!

"The product was good and is doing the job it was suppose to do. i.e taking excellent pictures. But the seller is a bit slow. They take ages to ship your product after the order is placed. In my case, it took them 5 days to even ship and that also when i followed up on email 3 times... Product 100% satisfied .. seller not very great..."

It was all good besides the bag which is very different than the pictured one and low quality. I received no book in the package.

This is a good deal for people who are getting started in more profesional potography, since it come with lots of usefull stuf that you otherwise would not get, like the tripod, the extra battery, etc.
The camera is really good to start learning real potography, it takes great pictures and full HD videos.
The only thing that is not so good is the extra lense, but you get what you paid for. Good lenses are extremely expensive.
