If you shop Amazon carefully, you can get this variety pack delivered for less than one Dollar per sheet. It offers five sheets each of four different premium fine art, and semi-gloss photo papers. I was so impressed with the first pack, that I waited a week or two until I was able to get it again for a bit less than one Dollar per sheet including shipping, and ordered two more packs.

Buying two or three packs gives you enough sheets of each type of paper to experiment, and then buy the types of paper you use most often in bulk form over time, while still having a stock of less often used paper types on hand.

It is all first quality paper, and the first sheet of 13x19 inch paper to pass through your new Pro 9000 printer will drop your jaw. So will the next 100 prints to pass through the printer.

Just be careful to shop right. Within any given month, you can find the pack for under twenty Dollars, including shipping. Otherwise, you can pay more than forty eight Dollars for the pack + shipping. Don't go there....

I have one problem with this paper pack...it was on sale a couple months ago for $12.00...yes it probably was an error. Anyway..I bught a dozen packs...problem was...I am kicking mtyself for not buying TEN DOZEN.
If you use a Canon Pro 9000 printer...prints don not get any better than what they look on this paper...especially the 350gsm Museam Etching paper at a whopping 91 lbs. The prints on this paper is as good as if not better than the finest Geecle prints on the market.

I have the Canon Pixma Pro9000. I bought this item when I first purchased my printer. It's a good variety of papers to "Test" on. I was spcifically looking for papers I could multi media, Print and watercolor on. the museum Etching Paper, is the most suitable as the Photo Rag was too thin for the medium but produces crisp graphics. The Museum Etching paper is a harder feed for the printer in the top load and needs a little bit of guidence; the others are grabbed nicely. The other papers in the pack are great for photographs.

If you are looking to do watercolor technique test your paper and medium as it takes paint "differently" from standard watercolor paper. It will also not blend the printer inks which could be an advantage if that's the techinque your after.

Down-fault to all papers only printable on one side and a bit costly.

Excellent starter variety pack for my new pro 9000 canon machine. Some of the paper does not support borderless prints. The ones that do are indicated on the back of the individual packs. The quality of the paper and ink with te 9000 is outstanding. Color with machine default settings right out of the box is very good. Black and white prints are surprisingly rich in tone.

I just purchased a Canon PRO9000 so I am sure the combination of the printer and this paper is the reason for the outstanding prints. Coming from a Canon ip8500 I was always pleased and wasn't expecting a huge difference, but a huge difference I got. I had photos I had taken in San Fransisco that I thought were OK, but printed out on the Fine Art Paper made all the difference in the world. The paper allows the colors/ink to become fully saturated and so vivid. The Fine Art paper and the Photo Rag are definitely my favorites. I was never a fan of the Canon Matte paper. I would only use to produce sample prints to save some money. The Premium Matte Paper included is a much better quality; again allowing the ink to become fully saturated and much more vivid. The semi-gloss is fantastic too. After printing on these papers I never want to go back to the standard glossy that I had been using!!! Between this paper and Ilford Pearl Paper I can't see myself printing on anything else.

Be careful if you have the Canon i9900. While you might think that since this is Canon paper it should work in the i9900, you would be wrong. Canon's reply to my query about the i9900's compatibility; "Regrettably, the Digital Art Paper variety Pack... is only compatible with the Pro9000 and the Pro 9500 printers."

Bought this set of paper sample because of getting the Pro9000 printer. Boy does this add to the already impressive capabilities of that printer.
Found this set on a sale price so I can't complain about anything. If you're into large prints and have the printer for it, this is a great set of paper samples to try out the various types of finishes.

Title speaks for my review. Nice clean photo paper, prints come out of my Canon Pro 9000 looking like lab prints (I spent 30 years as a pro shooter, and I know what a good print looks like). Nice variety of papers to play with.

Everything was great except the boxes of photo paper inside the shipping carton were not protected. Consequently one corner of each box was bashed and I had to return the entire order. Reshipment received with no damage but that was due to luck as the boxes were not packed much better.

I purchased the Canon Digital Art Paper Variety Pack to use with my new Canon Pro 9000 printer. Right away I realized the paper was far too expensive to experiment with so I cut one of the glossy sheets (13x19") into 4x6" pieces for practicing on the new printer.

The images were gorgeous on the Canon paper, which I highly recommend once you're past the experimental stage with your printer. Until then, I suggest using a less expensive brand of paper or cutting the Canon sheets into smaller sizes.

The Canon papers deserve five stars. I deducted one star because of the price.
