The Canon MultiPass C755 multifunction peripheral is whole lot of functions rolled into one. It's a color Bubble Jet printer, fax machine, copier, and scanner. You can save money and space in your office with this high-performance multitasking machine.

As a Bubble Jet printer, the C755 features individual ink tanks, meaning you replace just the color that runs out, not an entire cartridge. A special optical sensor alerts you with a message on your screen that you are about to run out of ink, so you can change your cartridge before you end up high and dry.

The C755 prints incredibly fast, up to 9 ppm in black (using the optional BC-30e black BJ cartridge) and up to 4 ppm in color, so you can get through jobs quickly. Then, if you need to, you can whisk them away using the machine's faxing capability--which operates faster than most standard fax machines. At up to 33.6 Kbps, you can fax a page in just 3 seconds. That's saving you not only time but money as well. Plus, the C755 has a memory that stores up to 80 pages, and with 1,440 x 720 dpi your documents are sure to look sharp.

The Multifunction is a fax machine, a scanner, a copier, and a high-resolution color or black and white Bubble Jet printer all combined into one compact, high quality machine. The printer reaches impressive resolutions of 1440 x720 dpi, and can print as fast as up to 9ppm black and 4ppm color. In color mode, the C755 implements optical sensors to warn you to replace each color as it runs out, rather than having to replace the entire cartridge when only one color is running low. The fax machine transmits at 33.6 Kbps (as fast as 3 seconds per page!) That's quite impressive when transmitting at the high resolution of 1440x720 dpi. Other features include "one-touch" scanning as well as built-in memory that allows the unit to store as much as 80 pages of text.

I upgraded to this printer from an older Canon multipass machine that a few years ago cost me more than 2x as much and did much less. This printer has black and white and color copying, scanning and printing. It is a good size, easy to use and has ink tanks that are seperate for each color, so you just replace what you need. I have had mine for about 2 months and haven't had any problems with it. Pictures print quickly and are pretty sharp. I think this is a great printer to use at home as I do for my basic household computer printing, and I make many copies which is great too.

With my new Canon MultiPASS C755, I no longer have to drive out of my way to Kinko's for printing or faxing. In the long run, it will pay it's self off in less than a year. So far, I'm enjoyng my new toy. Prints fast and clear, and the faxing is quick. The ink cartridges seems to hold more ink, and are somewhat more affordable too. The cartridges are very easy to replace. I like the size and lite weight of my new MultiPASS, it fits anywhere. My last printer was a Canon BJC4000 series I purchased back in 1998. It treated me well, and is why I stuck with the purchase of another Canon.

I bought my multipass c755 just this afternoon and have begun to really love it.

Setting it up was like a breeze. It prints considerably noiselessly and fast. It faxes, copies and scans great.

The best thing about this item is that it's worth your money. (That is why I have to give it a five-star instead of a four). I did quite some compare shopping before I decided on this one. Other brand names within the same price range simply don't provide as many functions or comparable printing effect.
