I just got back from a 10 day trip to Israel and Rome. I wore the case around my waist, using the waist strap. It kept my camera always in the ready. I also attached my camcorder case to the waist belt so I had it ready too. There is just enough storage in the holster to carry essentials: extra memory cards, battery, filter....

I was disappointed that the spare battery was not a canon battery but an off-brand. It did work fine though...

The rest of the stuff is really cheap. I didn't purchase this package for them though so I was OK with it.

The holster also comes with a fairly nice padded shoulder strap. But I can't imagine using it since it works so well fastened around my waist.

The holster case is awesome for a day trip with my camera, although it limits only one type lenses. The tripod has two bubble levels with a bag. It doesn't look like other pricey pods, but very useful and worthy for the price. The battery is not the Canon battery, but I cannot see any difference yet in use. OH, the card reader...it is my best beloved one in the package. It's a super convenient device. Everyone saw the device praised its convenience. It's always been a headache to share the picture files (1000s) with family and friends whenever the shooting spree finished. But this device solved the problem very easily. Put your card in this small device and plug it into your USB port, then it transfers the files into your computer quickly. I am so glad to be freed from the USB cable for this card reader. Its size is about the wireless USB adapter. And a week ago, I damaged this precious device accidentally, so I called the seller and I GOT A NEW ONE TODAY! Wow! I really thank the seller for their quick response and the wonderful service. This package is very worthy for the price.

u get exactly what u see and value for price is pretty great. i have seen the canon bag alone for more and the battery plus tripod are a bonus and if u dn't have the other little doodads (which i didn't) it was incred value.
