I like to order original Canon chargers and batteries. They have never failed me. Also, one is always in my Camera bag while the other is in the house. That way, I never forget it.

You paid good money for a Canon Digital SLR so do not skimp on some cheap battery - get Canon!

Product as described,I would of given it a five star if it had an optional D/C plug to take in the car for emergencies purposes. This charger also works for my canon 60D Camera

The one thing I like about Canon's charger is it indicates what the present charge state is on the battery. At least for the Li batteries in computers, it is preferable to store them at only partial charge. Unless I know I am going to be taking many photographs in one session, I prefer to keep my batteries at 50% to 75% full charge.

Price for this item is high and reason for 4, not 5, stars.

My husband lost the one that came with the camera kit. We love this battery charger. It is small enough for packing for weekend travel and the light indicator shows when charging is done

This is the replacement battery charger for the canon 5d Mark II batteries. I picked one up because I lost the first one I had. This product does what it is supposed to do: it charges the batteries. It is simply an expensive product for what it does.

Its the same as the one that came with my 5D MKII, but I needed two chargers to charge the two batteries I have in the Battery Grip. Works great. Would be nice to have a single double charger, but that's a complaint I'll have to take up with Canon.

I got this expecting it to be similar to the regular model that comes with the 5D/7D to charge. Instead, it was a corded plug in, which actually could be great in some instances. However, when I plug it in and put a battery on it, there is just a red light. No flashing indicators, after a good 3-4 hours when the other charger would be well done charging, it remains red. I am unsure if it's even charging my battery. The other kicker is the fact that I can't put my battery right on, I have to jiggle it a little and set the charger at the exact right angle or the contacts won't connect right.

Not a good choice if you are going to buy a charger. I'll have a buy a different one now. Bummer.
