I am delighted with my purchase. The bag is big enough to hold two mini DVs, three different cords, an extra battery, and of course my camcorder. I need to purchase a firewire cable, but as soon as I get it, I will be able to fit it in the bag as well. From reading the reviews, I thought this bag would be quite large, but I was wrong. I am 5" 0', and this bag does not appear huge when I take it with me (it is about the size of a medium handbag). If anyone is looking for a camcorder bag for her Canon ZR modle camcorder, this bag is it because it has everything a novice camcorder user would need. It is a great deal too. If you add up the cost of a mini DV, a good camcorder bag, and a battery, you will see that this is the best option if you are looking to save money.

The starter kit was a better value than buying all these items separately. The bag was able to put all the essentials like spare tapes, cables, and batteries. If the bag was just a little bit bigger with more storage that would be perfect. Overall good value especially since the extended battery lasts about 4 hours of regular use compared to just over 1 hour with the standard battery.

All in all, great value, but the bag could be just a little bigger for all of the accessories.

Great Camera, bag, and accessories. Just wish it had come with a fire wire as well as the AV hook up.

I mainly bought this kit for the battery for my new Canon HV20 camera and thought the case would be nice. I couldn't be more pleased. The case is compact, but allows room for the camera, batteries, power adapter, tapes and cords. There is a little zip up compartment in the handle to accommodate an accessory,like a cord. This case is so much easier to transport than the big camera bag used for my analog camera. dBahr and Billy Wayne.

This is such a great product. The case fits my camera perfectly and I love that it comes with an extra battery and a tape. This is just perfect for a first time owner like myself!

This starter kit was great. You received the larger more usable battery and mini-dv tape. Just don't forget to get a firewire too.

The Battery is good. Though it protrudes a bit outside my zr700 and adds bit of weight, I like it. Makes the camcorder handy for my hands :-) The case is really nice. It really took everything - zr700, 2 batteries, AV cable, charger, one casette, wireless - easily and is compact and soft. The DV casette that comes with it is just a souvenir ! other two are good.

If you bought the camera, you need this kit. It gives you the extras you need. You still have to buy a card for the photos.
