i received a replacement that didn't work much better than the first,gave up will buy a new one rather than a refill and learn a lesson.the time i spent repackaging and mailing already makes it more costly than a new one-buy new!!!

the ink cartridge worked well in the older printer that we have. the images printed come out very clear and distinct.

The photo of the item made it look as if it were a new product in retail package. It was not. It was a refurbished/remanufactured ink jet cartridge. I saw nowhere on the product page where it said the item being sold was refurbished/remanufactured. Maybe it says so now, but I'm still not seeing it. Maybe the seller's name should have alerted me, but it did not. Fortunately, unlike some others who reviewed it, the cartridge works very well in my BJC-240, which is why I gave it 4 stars.
