I love canon. They don't install chips on the ink carts that flasely report when the tank is empty. So with canon you get to use ALL the ink you paid for.

It works great! Authentic genuine Canon ink is always best. Don't mess with cheaper imitation/refilled off brand inks.

Costs more, yes, but Canon ink is the best.
I've tried the "other" $cheap$ brands and, though it costs more, have found that my Canon PIXMA iP4000 performs absolutely the best with genuine Canon ink. The old adage, You get what you pay for" certainly applies here. BT

Up until recently I've had good luck with my Canon compatible ink tanks. Not so much so with HP laser compatibles. I have already swithced to the more expensive Genuine HP product because the compatibles were messing up my printers. Not worth the savings. Now I seem to be having the same trouble finding compatible ink that works well for my dinosaur non-chipped ink tank canon printers. It is definately worth the extra cost to go genuine, beats replacing print heads prematurly due to running cheap ink through them.
