Battery charges quickly and last a long time. Left for ten days, took over 300 pictures and some short videos on my Powershot 3100 and didn't have to replace the battery until the last day.

This is a fantastic battery! Lasts longer than I have owned it! Good price -- less than half the list price. Has the name Canon right on the case.

(This is not an honest review, but demonstrates that no humans read the reviews, thereby eliminating many legitimate ones. Apparently, the rules include words such as the name of the company sponsoring this...

Genuine Canon battery, in original package; priced much lower than retail stores. I always carry a spare battery, and much preferred putting a genuine Canon product in my brand new Canon camera.

I was concerned when first ordering this battery the picture show the name canon on it like I wanted but was not sure if this was going to be real canon battery for this price. When I looked other places the battery was about $60 for this battery and to my surprise when the product arrived and I opened it to see the Canon name I was very pleased.

I bought this battery for my Canon Powershot A3100 IS as a spare. It is very small and light weight. And I have noticed it lasts a great deal longer than cameras that use AA batteries.
I wish there was a higher extended power battery pack, but I guess that has yet to come out.

These batteries are easy to charge and last longer than AA batteries. Bought an extra one so I'd always have one charged. Charger is relatively small and can fit in camera case so you always have a backup. After experience with rechargeable batteries from Kodak and Sony, in my opinion, Canon batteries are the best and longest lasting.

The battery was exactly the same one that came with the camera from the store. It charges quickly and holds a charge for a day of normal picture taking. I bought it to use as a backup for a day away from a charging source so that I always have a fully charged battery available.
