5.0 out of 5 stars Great product for home office
Canon is one of the reputable companies in copier business. This product is compact, very reliable, and easy to operate. It's good for home office. The contrast adjustment button allows you to optimize the output copies. The starter toner cartridge yields about 1000 copies. Cost of copy less than 5 cents each.

1.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware!
This printer is wonderful. I haven't one negative remark concerning the functionality of the machine. I am warning about this purchase because to replace the cartridge is $85 upwards. Obviously, half the price of the "copier" is the "cartridge enclosed."

1.0 out of 5 stars coper that doesn't copy, May 23, 2007

This copier showed a lot of promise when I ordered it. When it arrived, I was impressed by its small, efficient looking, size and was very eager to test it. Unfortunately, I received an error message that paper was stuck before it accepted any paper. Upon opening the cartridge chamber, I discovered a small plastic piece that was dislodged. I placed it in its container. The error message went off and I again attempted to test it. The piece dislodged again and the cycle was repeated. So, the copy machine, purchased new, may be a good one for my purposes, but I won't find that out till I repair it, since the seller ignores everything.

4.0 out of 5 stars great copier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, March 27, 2007
This review is from: Canon PC150 Personal Copier (Office Product)
Got this copier for the in-laws to copier medical bills for medicare. They hate computers. So spending a 1000 dollars on system they won't use didn't make sense. It's simple to use and have only the basic functions. The ink cartidge is good for 2000 pages which will last longer than my in-laws will live. The cartidge cost almost as much as the copier itself.
All in all a good basic copier for people who are computer haters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent at what it does., January 19, 2008
This review is from: Canon PC150 Personal Copier (Office Product)
The Canon PC Personal Copieer does precisely what a very simple flat bed copier is expected to do. I am a home officer user and have another multi-use copier that does not have a flat bed so I use the Canon PC 150 for items that cannot be automatically fed thru a copier and make quick manuel duplex copies from 2 sided documents, etc. The single consumable is a combinded drum/toner cartridge that requires little maintenance and provides quite good (but not optimum) print quality. This copier is very simple to use and maintain. My purchase price including delivery thru Amazon precisely 1/2 of store cost and on-line cost of generic drum/toner cartridges is much less than 1/2 of of store price so this product is extemely cost effective, less than 1.5 cents per copy.

Good price! Ordered easily, came on time in good shape. It was a slightly older model, but in this case a great value for "personal" casual use.

The product functions as designed. One complaint is its darkness: even adjust to its maximum, it is not dark enough to show all contains of the copied material (I had a 14 year-old Cannon PC1 which has a darker image than PC150). May be it is a toner problem, but I cannot verify since it comes with the copier (after I changed the toner ordered from Amazon.com, the copied quality was improved to acceptable level. The toner came with the copier was a trash)

Quality product and much easier to operate than the multi function machines. Great for occasional use since always ready to function and without multi colored inks which can be problems.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, November 15, 2007

I have staff who are in and out of client homes every day and we needed something that could do the job well and be portable. THESE COPIERS ARE GREAT and were the answer to a lot of headaches. YES-the print cartridge is expensive but we use them for 911 items and are responsible. Not for every day but the perfect copier for the professional on the move!

After setup per the instructions, copies were very light. Tried adjustments allowed by copier but no improvement. Removed toner cartridge and shook it side-to-side... that resulted in copies a little darker but still not acceptable. Conclusion: toner cartridge supplied with the PC150 is almost worthless.

February 16: Purchased a replacement toner cartridge for $33.94 and the PC 150 makes very good copies. Toner that comes with the PC 150 is trash.
