Canon makes excellent ink and photo paper so this ink/paper combo is almost the best of two worlds, quality and economy. I've never had any negative issues with either Canon inks or photo paper so I have no negative comments about them. I made a costly error a number of years ago by using non-OEM ink to save a buck. Saving a buck on ink cost me a printer which gummed up and quit working due to poor quality ink. Lesson learned, stick with Canon OEM ink for your Canon printer.

Why did I say this combo was "almost" the best of two worlds? What you receive with this combo are CLI-221 tanks in cyan, magenta, & yellow and the PGI 220 black tank as well as 50 sheets of Canon glossy photo paper. You DO NOT get the CLI 221 black ink which is required for the MP-560 and some other Canon printers. I didn't read as thoroughly as I should have and thought I was getting all four CLI 221 tanks. My MP 560 requires both the pigment-based and dye-based black ink cartridges (pigment for text and dye for photo printing). As I said, it was totally my fault for not reading thoroughly but I do wonder how many others may have made the same mistake. It's an easy fix, just order a CLI 221 black tank.

Regardless of my error, it is still an excellent value for which you get Canon quality for ink and paper.

This Combo Pack doesn't come with the CLI-221 black cartridge. If you don't pay attention to it, you buy presuming it is complete.
This review is an alert. If you want a complete set of cartidges, you have to buy with this COMBO an extra CLI-221 black cartidge.

Great deal, but it wasn't clear that this set does not include the CLI-221 Black cartridge, which is needed for the Mx860 model and probably others. Seems odd that they would include 4 out of 5 cartridges required for the printer.

The Canon NEW cartridges are the very best way to go! Canon is the best printer, different color cartridges, and these are very easy to install, and the color is great. Don't be fooled & buy refurbished cartridges, your color will be off.

goto Costco - I bought the entire set in 1 package for around $40. Going back tomorrow to buy 2 more. The set had all cartridges, the large one and all the small ones, sorry, printer is new to me and I threw the package out so I don't have the model #'s - I have the Canon MX870 (great printer, $85 at Costco w/instant rebate).

This is a wonderful deal for me as I need only the colors and large ink tank. For some reason i have two 221 black inks in stock! So perfect to not have to buy more of that.
I always use the genuine ink and papers for the best result...professional photos.

Genuine Canon inks at a good price plus 50 sheets of high quality photo paper as part of the deal. A good buy.

I buy this package for my Canon i3600 printer. Although it doesn't have the black dye tank, I don't seem to deplete that tank as quickly as the others. The cost for the package is only somewhat cheaper than buying individual tanks but the bonus package of photo paper makes it a better deal.

Everything you would expect from Canon - plus a cost saving selection of inks (I never run out of ink in the small black cartridge). The photo paper is a nice bonus!

What can I say, these are the cartridges that fit my printer. Honestly, I don't need anymore photo paper. I keep giving it away to people. But Amazon's price is better that the office superstores without the paper.
